Chapter Twenty Three (Foxy)
I stand silently, watching as Freddy narrows his eyes, Bonnie widens his eyes in shock, and Gold just stands and nods.
Freddy, seeing this, turned and glared at his golden look a like.
Tiny tears trickled down Chica's cheeks, her mascara and eyeliner running everywhere.
Drusilla looked flustered, and she guides Chica to the table. Chica sat down and shut her eyes, looking drained of her usual energy.
Freddy turns and stares at me, as if wanting me to tell him that she's joking. I just shrug.
Gold looks awfully pleased with himself and Bonnie is still looking, um, pale? Oh maybe he was a bit green... I couldn't tell.
"Okay, can someone tell me what's happening here?" Freddy demands, glancing at each of us in turn.
"Well.." I trail off. I don't want to get on Freddy's bad side. And I will if I tell him that I knew that Chica had snuck off more than once.
"She's left more than once, using my human suits." Gold comes to my rescue, grinning. "Least someone's kind enough to use them."
Freddy just glares at him. Well, better Gold than me, I guess.
"What are we going to do about it?" Bonnie suddenly pipes up, catching our attention.
"About what?" Drusilla asks, confused. She'd taken Chica somewhere, and had just returned, glancing at all of us.
"Um.." For once, Freddy looks lost for words. And then a bad, bad thing pops to mind.
"Drusilla, what's the time?" I ask fervently.
Drusilla stares at me, even more confused, before glancing down at a bit of plastic around her wrist. A watch, I think.
"It's 6 am. Why?" My head shoots up, my eyes widening. Bonnie opens his mouth, gaping, and Freddy looks as if someone slapped him. Gold just smiles.
"Uh," I hold my human hands together. "Drusilla? We need to get back. Now."
Drusilla stares at all of us, looking rather confused, still. I feel sorry for my sister. She does have an animatronic form, but barely goes into it, if at all. And she doesn't work at the restaurant. So she doesn't know how bad we need to get back.
"Bonnie, Gold, come outside. We need to talk." Freddy orders. Back to his usual self, I see. "Foxy, go find Chica and tell her."
I nod in reply. Drusilla is saying goodbye to them, and then goes back to sitting at the table. She points me in the direction of where Chica is.
I reach the room and push the door open, to find Chica sitting there. She looks as if she saw a ghost.
"Chica." I hiss. She turns and faces me. I bite back a yelp of shock.
Chica's eyes are bloodshot, her skin pale. Her eyes are wide, but they are white.
"Chica, what's wrong?" I begin to worry about her. This isn't normal. I wonder if I should get Freddy or someone, but I decide not to.
And then Chica points to the wall, stiffly. I walk over, staring at what she's pointing at.
This time, I let out a screech of shock, and fear.
I don't bother to see if Chica's all right. I pound down the stairs towards Freddy and Bonnie and Gold, ignoring the questions Drusilla throws at me.

A growl rises deep in the back of my throat.
I narrow my yellow eyes angrily at the sight in front of me.
The piece of rotten human flesh! He would pay, I'll make sure of that.
I knew it. I knew it all along. They should've believed me when I told them in the beginning.
What's done is done, though, isn't it?
Oh, if only they knew what had been planned under their noses. Or beaks, for that matter.
And its only just started.
