You were trapped in Mikey's arms while you both were asleep. You couldn't believe yourself. The person you hated the most was embracing you like you were his beloved, and all because you kissed him.
But he tried to protect you after all, he did it for you. It was very risky, if anyone saw you with him you would get in trouble. Was it really worth it? Probably not.
He protected you, yes. He tried to kill you as well. You separated from him, all those memories came back to your mind making your head ache. Mikey had a light sleep so he felt when you moved.
"What's wrong?" He asked trying to reach your hand but you avoided his touch.
"Nothing, just a headache." He only nodded but he kept looking at you. "What?"
"You're pretty." He made you blush.
"Stop doing that."
"Doing what?"
"Acting like you care about me, you don't. Don't you remember? You tried to kill me, that's why I distanced myself from you. You scared me, Mikey."
"It was many years ago."
"It still hurts."
"But you kissed me."
"That-"
"You can't hate me."
"I can." He laughed.
"No, you can't. Look, I'm sorry, I really am, but"
"But?"
"I can't go back in time and fix it all."
"In that case you should ask Takemichi to do it for you." You laughed, but his eyes widened.
"What did you just say?"
"Nothing, just a weird lie Takemichi told me about time leaping. Anyway, that's not the point of-"
"No, he was right, it was true."
"What do-"
"He did that to save Hina, then he wanted to save me, but it was too late, I chose this path, I chose to be this person."
"Why would you do that? Mikey you could have been more than a criminal." His face was emotionless.
"I've always been the problem, every time Takemichi tried to save us all, I always messed up everything, he didn't deserve that, my friends didn't deserve that. Since they are all I have, I gave up my happiness, because as long as they're fine, so am I."
