High school, nobody likes it, and if you do you're probably a psycho. Luckily, you just graduated. You saw people crying, taking selfies, laughing, lots of different emotions, and you were emotionless. It's not that you don't care, you do, but you don't tend to show your emotions, and you don't wanna sound like the type of person who'd flex with that, not being able to show your emotions sucks.
Since you were a child, your parents told you that your emotions made you weak, that if you let someone in your heart, you're ruined. But it was just an excuse, they never showed you love, they treated you more like a robot than like a human being.
You graduated with honors, you had the best grades in your class, and you were proud of it, you worked hard for it after all, but it was not enough. Every time you saw a happy family you felt pain in your heart, because you clearly knew that you would never have that.
You were lucky to have somebody that kept you connected to reality, that reminded you how life can be difficult but you can always show your best face and keep going. Saito Keiko, your best friend. She's a pretty black haired girl, average height and a pretty smile, everyone at your school was in love with her.
You were the introvert and extrovert duo, cliché. You both were popular at school, but she always did the talking, she was a nice girl, of course your parents didn't think that way, they perceived her as a problematic person and they always asked you to stop talking to her, but that you never did.
You and Keiko were planning to go to this new club to celebrate that you both had graduated. You were not a big fan of the idea but she was happy about it, and why not? It was a special occasion after all.
You both went to Keiko's house to get ready, your house was definitely not an option, and besides, Keiko had a good taste in fashion, you wanted to look good today, you want a new start in your life, and it seemed like a good day for that.
You wore a short red dress, it looked good on you, you looked good. Keiko wore a dark green dress, it was even shorter than yours, try to imagine, but she was used to it, and it made her look hot, she's probably gonna pull all the boys at the club today.
You told Keiko you wanted to have fun, but knowing her, she was gonna get drunk, so you offered yourself to drive home after the party, she agreed.
Minutes later you arrived at the club, you parked the car and got out of it. It was loud as hell, because it was a new bar it was full of people, and there was a long line to enter. Not everyone was being admitted though, it was "exclusive". You honestly didn't think they would let you and Keiko in but, conveniently, they did. Keiko just smiled at the guy and he immediately let you both in, and you didn't even had to wait, it felt like a privilege.
Once inside you could smell the alcohol everywhere, there was people smoking, drinking, dancing and some couples about to fuck in front of everyone.
Disgusting.
