After Ellerosé told me that my brother was on the way, we had both sat in silence, waiting for his arrival. All types of thoughts were running through my brain, 'what if, on his way here, he kills anyone or destroys anything in his path to get here? What if someone gets injured or hurt?..what if he tries to hurt Ellerosé and blames her for not keeping a close eye on me? What if...' my thoughts were interrupted by a loud knock on the door. I jumped a little at the sound as it startled me a little as I was lost in my thoughts; I then knew who it was by the smell.
My hands tightened at my dress in my lap before Ellerosé walked over to open the door, letting him in, I took a few deep, slow breaths before looking up and turning my head slowly to look towards the door, and there stood a tall, slim looking vampire with red hair that kind of looked like it was spiky but also slick at the same time, and his eyes were a golden colour that was ever so slightly looking like a black coal colour. Without any second waiting longer, I stood up in a flash and turned towards where my brother was until I folded my hands together in front of me before silently muttering under my breath, "Diamon.."
Diamon made his way over to the lounge and sat down without a word; I looked over at Ellerosé, who was slightly crouching over, keeping her head down. I can understand why most vampires or anyone would be scared of any royals as we have this aura or vibe. I should say when we are in this state, when our eyes turn a pitch coal cold colour with red highlights around them, you just instantly know you've fucked up and that you will have no mercy from us. I sat back down on the lounge in silence until I heard a stern warning voice come from my brother. " You. Know. Why I am here, don't you, dear sister?" I closed my eyes for a second before taking a deep breath and turning my head slightly towards my brother "yes. I do know why.." I then looked down slightly at the floor, not giving any signs of excuse.
"Then I think you should go pack your things up immediately, and then we shall be on our way." I heard my brother say still in a dead cold, harsh voice. "I shall also be the one to make sure nothing happens to you or let you out of my sight" He continued, saying his harsh words while looking at Ellerosé as if he was directing some words towards her as if to make her feel horrible. "What do you think my father would say to you, Ellerosé? hmm? on how you have failed to keep an eye on my sister."
Ellerosé just stood there in silence, flinching at his words while saying in a low sad, regretful tone "I- I don't know, sir.." I stood up, facing my brother with the same cold glare back. "It wasn't her fault Diamon; if anyone should be blamed and punished is me, I went off on my own, knowing damn right of how it could be out there, so blame me but.." I lowered my head a bit to darken my glare at my brother before saying in a harsh voice "Do.Not.Blame.Ellerosé."
Diamon had then looked at me before snickering and stood up easily over towering me, "oh sis" he began to say while taking a step closer and bending down to my level with his face inches away from mine "you have no idea, do you?, you see our father had in trusted Ellerosé with his very existence to make sure she kept an eye on you and never have you out of her sight to make sure nothing happens to the future queen of the underworld-" I lifted my hand and slapped my brother across the face so hard that it left a red mark on his cheek followed by a bruise. Diamon stood there for a bit in shock before then chuckling a dark, eerie villianish laugh, before then stopping and glaring at me with a cold look before then grabbing my right forearm tightly, I winced a bit at the slightest pain but held my glare gaze at him, and before I could say anything else, he lifted me up and swung me over his shoulder and began walking towards the door.
"Ellerosé! grab all the belongings and follow" without any hesitation, Ellerosé dashed in a blur and got everything packed and ready and followed closely behind. "DIAMON!" I began to say " PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!" but Diamon just completely ignored me and continued carrying me over his shoulder, and this just pissed me off even more, and I began to hit him on his back with my hands clenched in tight fists while continuing to shout at him to put me down, but of course, that still wasn't working.
I sighed and pouted while having an annoyed look on my face, frowning. Diamon kept walking down the stairs of the apartment buildings and out onto the sidewalks with Ellerosé close behind with the belongings; we made so many sharp turns that were in the dark alleyways; Diamon, of course, used his speed walk that, to a human eye would just be a blurred motion.
The whole time we had walked down dark alleyways, it was beginning to sound very quiet, a little too quiet, as we made our way deep into the dark forest that was on the edge of the city we had just walked out of. We continued walking deeper and deeper into the forest, making sure we were out of sight of any humans until we came to a halt. Diamon began chanting words to open a portal up that would lead to the underworld.
Once dead still and silent, the trees started to sway, and a bright flash of light appeared, indicating that the portal was opening up to an unfamiliar place that was in the underworld. I turned to look at the site, and before I knew it, we were already walking towards the portal that led us back to the underworld; once stepping inside the portal, it quickly closed behind us; before it closed, I looked back at the forest looking at the horizon seeing the bright city lights before they finally disappeared. I felt my eyes soften to a sad look, as I had a doubt feeling I would ever be able to go back; by the looks of it, I may never be able to leave the underworld as I pleased, yet alone won't be able to leave the palace walls ever again.
