"Quit ye whinin', Murph." Connor scolded his brother as he threw a box of cereal into their shopping cart.

Murphy slouched against the cart as he pushed it forwards slowly, whilst Victoria walked ahead, holding the shopping list. Connor was getting frustrated with his brother complaining about how long the shopping took, like he did every week.

"I ain't whinin'." Murphy argued, scowling at Connor.

"Yes ye are." Connor said, tossing another box into the cart.

"You are." Victoria called out from in front of them.

Connor grinned as Murphy pouted, slouching further. For a grown man, Murphy had immature moments where he couldn't help complaining, or became bored very quickly when doing 'adult' tasks, like food shopping, or cleaning. Connor had these moments too, but not as often as his twin.

"We should do a monthly food shop." Murphy suggested, dragging his feet as he walked. "So we don't have to do this every weekend."

"You would eat everything in the house within the week." Victoria sneered, turning to him and throwing a load of bread in the cart. "Even doing weekly shops I still have to pick up extra food every few days."

Murphy snorted and shrugged, knowing she was right. He watched as Connor walked ahead, his arm over Victoria's shoulders. The sight made him happy; seeing his brother so content and himself with a girl was something he had never witnessed before. He and Connor had had girlfriends individually in the past before, but no one that they could completely be themselves around. No one that they felt so at ease around, and wanted to be affectionate in public with.

Connor glanced back at Murphy and grinned at him, making him scoff and shake his head.

"What are you grinning at?" Victoria asked, looking up at Connor.

"Murph is feelin' a little sentimental is all." He explained, continuing to walk with arm over her.

Victoria glanced back at the darker twin, confused. "Huh?"

"It's nothin', sweetheart." Murphy said, still pushing the shopping cart.

Victoria looked between both of them, before she registered what had happened. "This is that twin telepathy thing, right?"

Connor snorted with laughter at her comment. "If that's what ye wanna call it."

Victoria flipped through their shopping list, crossing off the remaining items. "Well what do you call it?"

"We don't call it anythin'." Murphy replied from behind her, tossing a bag of potato chips in the cart that wasn't on the shopping list.

"S'not like we do it on purpose." Connor explained as the trio got to the end of the aisle. "Looks like we're all done." He added, noticing everything on the list was crossed off.

"Yep. Let's pay and get out of here." Victoria said, smiling up at the lighter twin. "You good, Murph?"

"Aye, my love." He replied.

After they had scanned their items and paid, the three of them made their way out into the car park. It was a typical grey day in South Boston, the clouds overhead threatening to open up and begin raining at any moment. Connor pushed the shopping cart that was now filled with their bags, with Murphy walking beside him lighting up a cigarette. Victoria walked on Connor'a other side, vaguely listening to them bicker about what movie to watch later on.

As they walked, Victoria glanced up and towards where they had parked their car, and noticed a man leaning against it. He was large, with short brown hair, and a goatee. She felt her stomach churn with unease at the sight of him.
