One of her men tied my wrists and legs with a rope and picked me up on his shoulder. I struggled against him but his big arms were too strong for me, I looked up and the queen was riding her horse towards us. The man put me on my stomach over one of the horses they had and smacked its butt so it can move forward. The queen picked up the pace and matched the pace of the horse I was on.
"Why can't you just relax before you fall and make a fool of yourself" she said under her black helmet, I couldn't see her face but I just knew she was smirking at me.
"How about you let me go and show you who's the real fool" I talked back making her chuckle, she looked forward with her posture as straight as it can get.
"You sure about that? Because the last time I had you on the ground, I think you do remember" she replied amusingly, I groaned and tried to not fall off of the horse and break my neck. When I relaxed I realized how exhausted I was and before I knew it, I passed out.
I felt something touch my butt and I quickly moved my legs and kicked whatever it was. I heard someone wince and I looked behind me to see one of the queen's men. He had dark black hair with a beard and blue eyes. He picked me up and put me on my feet.
"Your highness, my name is Lupus and I'll be taking you to your chamber following my queen's orders" he said politely, I looked at him suspiciously then walked closer to his face.
"If you touch my ass again, I'll break your hand" I threatened making his eyes go wide in surprise.
"I- I didn't mean to do that your highness, I just wanted to get you down" he defended himself, I gave him a fake smile and pointed to the door as if I was asking him to show me the way. He kneeled down and cut the rope from my legs and then the one around my wrists.
"I trust that you won't do something stupid" he whispered, I rolled my eyes and rubbed my wrist where the rope was. He looked at me up and down and started walking through the huge metal doors. The walls were dark grey with paintings of kings and queens I didn't recognize, then after walking through multiple halls that I don't remember we were finally in front of a wooden door.
"This, will be your room from now on until further notice" he explained, further notice? I gave her a confused look but he was already gone before I could ask him what he meant by that. I pushed the door open to be met with a huge room, everything looked clean and the white sheets looked like they've been changed recently and the currents didn't have a spot of dust on them, I noticed a door inside the room so I went and opened it. To my surprise it was a closet, dresses were everywhere.
"I hope you enjoy your stay here" A voice said behind me making me jump, I turned around and the queen looked like she just took a bath and she was wearing normal clothes.

"Screw you" was all that left my lips, she smiled and put her hands behind her back. She started walking closer to me and I saw her hand come closer to my face. I pulled away and looked at her disgusted, she sighed and her smile dropped.
"I don't care if you hate me, starting from now, you are my wife. You belong to me and I can do as I please with you" I stared at her as if she lost her mind, she was imprisoning me inside this castle while all my life I spent it outside in the green fields and the town. Without hesitation I went to slap her face but she caught my wrist quickly.
"Just because I let you talk back doesn't mean you can put your hands on me. You don't want me to ruin this beautiful skin of yours" she forcefully pulled my hand to her lips and put a kiss on my knuckles then left me standing in the middle of the room surprised.
Two maids walked in the room and bowed their heads to me. They started pulling me out of the room and towards a different one that I later knew was the bathroom. They ripped my already torn dress and threw it away, I lowered myself in the war bath and they started scrubbing my skin.
After a long bath I was finally fully dressed and was sitting in the room the queen gave me with a book in my hands. I heard a knock and Lupus walked in with a smile and bowed slightly.
"Your highness, dinner is ready and the queen is waiting for you to join her" he said politely, I rolled my eyes and glared back at my book.
"I'm afraid you have no choice, no food will be served to your room you have to come with me if you don't want to starve" he said again, thinking of food made me hungry and I sighed getting up. I'm just going to ignore her until I figure away to escape or better, assassinate her.
I followed after Lupus until we reached a huge dining room, the queen was sitting at the head of the table waiting for the food to he served. I took a seat apposite from her, I felt her eyes burning my scalp from how hard she was staring at me.
"You are very pleasant to look at" She said from across the room, my eyes met hears and they looked dazed. She was leaning on the armchair and I couldn't help but think why was she dressed so manly. Now I noticed how fit she was and how good the clothes looked on her, I admit if she wasn't a bitch I'd totally fall face first for her, my thoughts were interrupted but the maids putting plates in front of us and everything looked so delicious.
"Bonne appetit" she said digging in, I hesitantly stabbed the chicken and slowly ate the well cooked meat. The flavours melted in my mouth and I couldn't help but sighed in satisfaction, I quickly gathered myself before she noticed.
The door opened interrupting our meal and she didn't seem very pleased about it, the guard who walked in looking scared. He bowed to her but she didn't even glance at him, why was she so cold to her people?
"My queen, I heard you came back and I'm here to remind you that tomorrow is pay day and the guards were asking if we could be paid more for the successful raid." He said in one breath, I mean they did a great job destroying my kingdom and stealing from it, the least she can do is please her men. She grabbed the napkin and stood up with a smile that looked fake as hell, she patted his shoulder and he sighed in relief.
"Of course" she nodded and looked down at her feet, in a blink of an eye she pulled his sword and decapitated him. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped in horror, how cruel could she be?
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I couldn't help but yell, she gave me a side look and waited for me to come to her.
"What if he had a family! Don't you have a heart?!" I pushed her by the chest, she grabbed my face tightly and pulled me closer to her face.
"Dont make me hurt you Charlene" I yanked her hand away from my face and spat on her shoes storming out of the room. I despise her so much...
