Dalbit sighed as she finally moved into her apartment. There wasn't much to bring in or to unpack. Dalbit sighed to herself. It was the best she could do. It was just mostly her stuff that she brought to school. The place was so deadly empty, only a few stuff from the last tenants who used to live there.

Dalbit groaned and plopped herself onto her bed, resting. She softly sighed to herself, thinking if it was worth choosing to live here or not. Dalbit sat back up, and saw a figure, then as she blinked to see if something was really there, it was gone.

"Maybe I'm just tired and crazy," she mumbled to herself and get ready for a shower.

It had been like this for a while, Dalbit thought she was going crazy, someone was pranking her, or her house was haunted. Sometimes her things would go missing, or she would see glimpses of figures around the apartment, even seeing writing on her mirror for her to get out, which she had cleaned. Even sometimes when she came back from work, things would be placed in different spots, until today, as she went into her sad kitchen to grab some microwavable food, a chair was thrown at her direction.

She quickly moved and fell over, and looked to see a white sheet with black dots with eyes, and underneath the sheet were see through-ish legs.

"Oh... wow. You got quick reflexes," the voice said.

Dalbit stared and blinked at the figure. "Why did you just throw that chair at me?"

Ignoring her question, the figure puts their arm out, pointing at her, and spoke as if they were in a video game or movie. "You must leave this place if you want to live."

Unamused, Dalbit stood up and dusted herself. "Dude, I just moved in here, and I'm broke, I have nowhere else to go, look at the living room, it's just a big bean bag, stool, and a box chair. And the food in the microwave is literally my first meal of the day. The dinning room has no table at all-"

The figure put their arm down, and looked around. "Yeah, this is a sad looking place, but! Why can't go live with your familyyy? Woooo~~~~" They said in a spooky wavy tone.

"I moved here to get away from them," Dalbit said getting closer to the figure, "and why are you using my sheets as a ghost figure? Give that back." She grabbed her sheets and yanked it off the figure, and her eyes were met with another, a male. As he smiled, his mouth turned heart shape like, his mullet blonde with faded purple ends. Dalbit's eyes slightly widened and shy blushed softly, why the heck is this ghost so cute looking? She cleared her throat.

"Oh.." he gulped and looked away. "I guess there's nowhere else to go..." She nodded.

"Who are you by the way?" Dalbit glanced at him while folding her sheets, putting it on the counter, and getting her microwaved noodles.

"Oh, um," the guy not expecting this type of interaction. He decided to answer to see where it goes. "I'm Son Dongju, but you can call me Xion. What's your name?"

"It's Min Dalbit," she said, taking a bite of her food, heading to a seat.

"So what made you move here?" Xion asked, sitting down, trying to steal some of her noodles.

Dalbit slightly glared at him and moved her bowl away, "I said it was because of my family. And if we're gonna start asking personal questions on our first meeting, how did you die?"

Xion's eyes widened, and he awkwardly coughed. "Uh, it's stupid and you might laugh."

"We'll see," Dalbit took a bite.

Xion took a deep breath, "uh, well, I downloaded this dating app, and met a girl, we talked for a short bit, and for our first meeting, I invited her over, where she proceeded to stab me to death." Xion was embarrassed, and then looked at Dalbit, her face unreadable.

"Well damn," she finally said. "Sucks you died, but kinda dumb of you to invite a girl you barely knew over." She chuckled.

"I knoww!" he whined, stomping. "I'm not a child, I should've listened to my friends."

"Alive or ghost too?" she asked, finished with her noodles.

"Both," he sighed. "I miss my family."

Dalbit felt bad for him.

"How long have you've been dead?" she asked, drinking some of her soda.

"A few months," he said, relaxing on the beanbag.

If Dalbit could hold and rub his hand to comfort him, she would, instead she gave him a comforting smile to him, "well, if you wanna talk with someone, I'll be here."

He nodded. "Thank you."

"Anytime," Dalbit finished her small soda can, and looked at her phone. "I should be heading to bed."

"Oh, of course!" Xion stood up, "you're still alive so you need more rest than I do. We can still talk more right?"

"Yeah, tomorrow," she hummed and stretched her arms. Dalbit grabbed her food container and threw it away. "See you in the morning."
