I was back at work, just restocking some store items while Changbin was ringing up a customer.
Just then, I heard a voice. "Oh, I didn't know you worked here Dalbit."
I looked up and saw Mingi. I gave him a friendly smile. "Hi there. And yep, I do. What brings you here?"
"Just doing some last minute shopping," he let out a breathy nervous chuckle. "I forgot my friends were coming over, so I ordered some takeout, and now I'm just here getting some snacks and drinks."
I laughed softly. "Just don't be too loud, don't want any noise complaints."
"I'll try, but whenever my friends and I are together, there is no such word as quiet," he smiled, nervously rubbing his neck. "B-but you know, if you'd like to drop by, and say hi to my friends. It'd be nice."
I smiled, tilting my head. "We'll see."
Mingi smiled, going up to the front desk as I followed. After he checked out, he looked back at me. "See you around."
I nodded. "See you around."
He gave a tiny wave, still look at me as he bumped into the door. "Ack-"
I couldn't stop myself and giggled, putting my hand over my lips.
Mingi blushed, turning back to me, pulling the door open, doing another wave before quickly leaving.
"Who was that?" Changbin asked, chuckling.
I looked at him, then looked back at the door, smiling. "My neighbor."
"He seems to have a thing for you," Changbin smiled. "He's pretty cute. Go for it."
"But we met recently, how could he like me already?" I asked, looking at him.
He hummed and shrugged. "Beats me. But who knows, maybe he fell for you first sight."
I scrunched my eyebrows, sputtering. "What? And why would he like me?"
Changbin gave another shrug. "Maybe because you have a charming nature."
I looked back at the door. "Huh. I guess I never thought about that. I never thought I'd be likeable." I guess my family has been getting to me again. But then again, the ghost boys say they find me nice too. So I guess I'm not all that bad.
"I'm home!" I say as I take off my shoes. I see five floating figures come towards me, and I smile.
"You're home!" Xion said.
"Welcome back!" Keonhee smiled.
"I made, dinner!" Seoho added as he wrapped me in a blanket and tugged me to the kitchen.
"I helped!" Hwanwoong added. "I made some tea too!"
"Don't forget to get rest too," Leedo replied, pulling my chair.
I chuckled, sitting down. "Ok, ok. You guys seem so active today."
"We missed you," Xion said, setting my plate on the table.
"How was work?" Hwanwoong asked.
I smiled. "It was good. One of my neighbors, Mingi, the one I told you about came to buy a few things."
"Ohh, that boy?" Leedo asked.
"I don't like him, he's too tall," Hwanwoong said.
"That's because you're jealous of his height," Seoho laughed.
"Shut up," Hwanwoong huffed, his ears and cheeks turning pink as he crossed his arms.
"No one is touching my Dal," Xion pouted.
Keonhee flicked his forehead. "Either way, if he tries anything, we'll keep you safe."
I ruffled my damp hair as I set my towel onto a chair.
"Maybe I should've joined you," Leedo joked.
"Oh shut up," I shook my head, tossing a pillow at him. He let himself get translucent, and it went through his body. "Still talking about it?"
"I mean when we first met, your eyes were glued on me," he chuckled.
"I won't deny that, you're very attractive," I hummed.
Leedo floated to me. "Really?"
I nodded. "Really."
"More than the others?" he sat on the chair.
I sighed. "Leedo, you're all different in your own ways, I'm not gonna compare you all."
He pouted. "Ok. But would you like to touch them?"
I coughed, flustered. "What?"
"My abs," Leedo replied. He tightened his shirt, making an outline of his abs. "Wanna touch them?"
"Sounds very tempting," I replied. "Ok, screw it, sure."
Like a child, he giggled, grabbing the hem of my shirt, pulling me closer.
"Would it be possible?" I asked.
"We could try," Leedo blushed.
Just in case, I also put gloves on, and reached out to touch his abs.
Leedo softly gasped. "I didn't think it would really work."
I blushed too. "YeAh, me too." But it feels nice... I continue to gently touch him, examining them.
Just then, someone floated through the wall. "Hey guys do you know where-"
Leedo and I immediately pulled away from each other, and looked to see who it was.
It was Seoho.
He gave us a suspicious look. "What's going on? What are you two trying to do?"
Leedo cleared his throat. "J-just testing out a theory."
"Hmm," Seoho squinted at us. "Carry on weirdos." Then he floated out the room.
Leedo and I looked at each other, just awkwardly laughing.
"So, what do we now?" I asked.
Leedo grabbed a cloth, putting it over my lips. "This." Then he pressed his lips against the cloth, our lips meeting.
