Chapter 3

And you deserve it the way you work it cause girl you earned it

L's POV:

                 Waking up you hear someone knocking on your door as you begin to open it you see Bowlin outside, " Wakey wakey I'm sorry if no one told you but we're going to Prince Wu's coronation but it's fine we have a day until we get there so you have plenty of time to pack." Thanking him as you wave goodbye you decide to get started on packing as well as that sketch for the lazer. Only 3 hours in you feel the train stop, and a voice on the intercom " Hello it seems that we have reached Republic City early. You may stop and get out but don't forget to be at the coronation by tomorrow in your positions on the dot."

              With that being your cue you grab your wallet, and head out eager to see the city and possibly buy a new formal outfit.

Kuvira's POV:

                 Walking out of the train I see nothing but paparazzi come and swarm around Baatar and I. "So is it true you are engaged? Who proposed? How many kids do you two plan on having? What do you think about Prince Wu gaining the throne?" All these questions are getting so annoying plus what is it to them anyway, as soon as I unite all of the earth Empire our engagement will soon be over just like that ignorant Prince.

               As my soldiers shew those annoying pests away I begin to walk down the sidewalks looking into stores trying my best to spot L without looking suspicious. Just my luck I see her in a store trying on shoes. Her foot is on a chair as she tries it on, the skirt she's wearing does not do a good job of hiding her plump soft thighs.

             I decide that I should walk over there and help protect her from perverts, for it is the right thing to do as her commander. I begin to walk over she sees me and she starts to wave while giving me her brightest smile. I couldn't help but get this warm tingly feeling inside of me geez why did it have to be this way this perfect being here just complicates things even more.

             "Hello L it is good to see you out and about. I saw you trying on those shoes and they look exquisite on you." "Really thank you, that means a lot coming from you. I thought people would think that they are too tall for heels." After looking her up and down Kuvira says, "They're actually not that tall, well not compared to me at least." As I say that I walk a bit closer staring into those eccentric eyes of hers.

             As I clear my throat I ask her what she will be wearing with the shoes. " Well that depends on if I get them or not they are a bit pricey of course it's not that you don't pay me enough I'm just not sure if I'm willing to splurge on it plus with how much these shoes cost the dress that I'm going to get with it will most likely be expensive as well." "Then I will pay for it. I have racked up quite a bit of money so buying this for you won't do anything to me. You work very hard so think of it like a treat."

            Without L even realizing it I take the shoes up to the desk and pay for them as I begin to walk back to a shocked and flustered L I see a beautiful dress that would go perfectly with the shoes. It's green with cuffs that flare out at the end, with a platinum like choker at the neck tying the whole outfit together. It's perfect flowy and will go great with platinum thigh high heels.

            "That dress looks amazing. I'll try it on right now." As I wait for her she walks out looking absolutely stunning giggling a little as she takes a spin showing the dress off. " It looks absolutely beautiful. It's surprising you got my size right on the first try, and it matches your outfit. We're like two peas in a pod. Now come on let's go get a bite to eat it's on me this time"
  After leaving the store we head to a bakery dining on cakes, parfaits and ice cream. The time that we have spent together has been amazing beyond words. When I'm with her I feel like I'm on cloud 9. I don't think I've ever felt like this when I was with Baatar. When I was with him it felt nice but it has never felt this nice.

             As you two go back to the train after a long day of fun you say your goodbyes " Goodbye Kuvira thank you once again for the close, and the amazing time we should do this again and maybe next time invite Zhu Li." "Possibly that is if my schedule allows it and yours as well have a wonderful rest of your night L don't forget about tomorrow and our check-in time."
            As you wave good night to each other Kuvira heads to her room metal bending the door tightly shut. "She said my name for the first time." I say before letting out a sigh I as I go change into something more comfortable I go to sleep with a wide smile planted on my face.
