Chapter 5

Every thing that kills me makes me feel alive

             Waking up to a knock on your door you hear a voice call out "Come on Miss.L you don't want the train to leave you, you have 20 minutes." Rolling out of bed you thank the soldier slowly putting on your close you rewind the event of last night. There was a speech by Kuvira, a night out in the city then.......THAT KISS!!

          "Oh my spirits, how could I forget that I mean I was trying to but now it's all flooding back." Bringing your hand up to your lips you can't help but smile the more you tout about it the more you wanted her to do it again. "No no no L you are a terrible person for letting her kiss you soft....lips touching yours....the look she gave you."

         "You know what you are going to tell her, it was a big mistake and you'll forget about it and we can act like it never happened." With a game plan in your head you walk out of your room making your way to the train. As soon as you get on the training you rush down the hallway and berry yourself in paper work.

         Looking at the design you take it to Zhu Li and Varrick but sadly nothing ever goes as planned. Running into Baatar you try your best to seem suspicious but in a way you didn't feel remorse you knew something was wrong so quickly excused yourself but before you could get the chance to leave Baatar speaks up saying, "Oh by the way Kuvira wants you she needs to know how the laser is coming along." "Thank you so much. I'll be on my way then bye."

         Zooming down the hallway you make it to Kuvira's office metal bending the door open as you step inside you see her signing papers. " Hello dear glad you could make it now about that laser." "I think we need to talk about something very important first." Before saying anything you inhale letting out a deep sigh.

        "In the time I have known you Kuvira you have been my inspiration, commander and even friend but as of late our relationship has become complicated. That night when you kissed me I could lie and say I hated it but it felt phenomenal that night I couldn't get you out my head but that is not the point. Kuvira that night was a mistake, it was wrong and I am willing to forget about it."

        When you were done speaking dead silence filled the room as Kuvira stared deep into your soul. Getting up from her desk she makes her way to you pulling you into her giving you a passionate kiss, "Go on L say it that was a mistake. Enlisting in my army was a mistake. Going around and cleaning up the Earth Empire was a mistake. I guess being my friend, getting involved with me was your biggest mistake too." Kuvira says kissing you between each sentence.

        "No, none of those were mistakes, maybe the first one but-." "But what L you say you say you loved that kiss, but it was a mistake you say you are willing to forget, but you can't get me out of your head, and you know what I refuse to suppress my feelings I can't get you out of my head either. Can't you see that what we have is actual love." Looking at her with a confused look on your face you say. "But you're 'In love' with Baatar." "Don't you ever mouth those discussing words again. I'm sick of everyone telling me what I am and I refuse for my dove to tell me that to."

      "Before I met you I thought I was in love with Baatar but as soon as I saw you got to know you I knew what I was feeling back then was nowhere near the real deal. My eyes have been opened and now I see him for what he is...a...little...annoying...pawn...who is getting in the way of us. Don't worry when it is all said and done we will come out victorious." Said Kuvira, taking the design out of your hands she gives it to the guard to deliver it to Varrick. Sliding a chair over she sits in it with you still in her arms enjoying each other's warm embrace. Even if it was wrong it felt so right.
