Luke

"Hey Sky! You doing anything tonight?" I asked into the phone. I tried my best to mask how nervous I actually was.

"Nope. Calum's doing something with Mali so I'm all by myself. Why?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to, um maybe, wanted to go on a date with me?" It came out
more of a question. I silently cursed my nerves.

"I'd love to!" She answered cheerfully.

"Sounds great. I'll pick you up at seven. Wear something nice, beautiful."

She giggled.

"Okay. See you then," she said before hanging up.

I breathed out a sigh of relief. That went much better than I'd planned.

The hours until the date flew by. I was at her, well really Calum's, house right at seven.

She was already on her way out the door when I pulled into the driveway.

"You look amazing," I blurted as soon as she got in. She blushed.

"Thank you," she said, giggling.

"Anytime, beautiful."

"So where exactly are we going?" she asked.

"On a date," I smirked.

She groaned and rested her head against the window. I laughed, turning up the music and let All Time Low fill the comfortable silence.

When we finally reached out destination, I noticed she was asleep.

"Sky," I whispered, shaking her gently.

"Yeah?" she asked groggily.

"We're here."

She jumped up and got out of the car excitedly. I took her hand in mine and led her towards the little beach I'd found a couple weeks ago.

"Luke," she gasped, "It's so pretty."

"I thought you might like it. There's a little cove I want to show you," I said.

She nodded. "How'd you find this place?"

"I uh, needed to get away for a while and this looked like a good spot," I explained awkwardly.

"Oh, well it's a good spot," she said as we reached the opening that led to the cove.

"Luke," she gasped, taking in the picnic I'd laid out for us.

"Like it?" I laughed. She nodded her head enthusiastically.

For the rest of the night, we ate and laughed and looked at the stars.

"Hey, Sky?" I asked as we were walking toward the car, hands intertwined.

"Yeah?" she asked.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I mumbled nervously.

She looked directly into my eyes before crashing her lips against mine. I kissed back, wrapping my arms around her neck and pulled her closer.

"Of course I'll be your girlfriend," she mumbled against my lips.
