September 5th.
Today was a very special day to celebrate the existence of a very significant woman. While yeah, she has quite a strong and loud personality, it's what makes her very charming. She's intelligent in various areas, curious about pushing limits, and is extremely friendly and likable—aside from a little obnoxious at times.

Hange Zoë is one of those women that many look up to because of her achievements in her line of work. She's known as a successful Biomechanical Engineer, and through her work, she's built a strong reputation mostly for her published research and two influential books. One of her books titled "The Limits of Flesh" consists of her methods—documenting her knowledge, experiments, and the trial-and-error process behind her discoveries, along with the studies she's contributed to. However, she's best known for her work titled "Engineering Touch: Advancements in Prosthetic Integration", which focused on her process with developing some of the most realistic feeling prosthetics currently on the market.

Just right off the bat, she's committed herself to a specific field that blossomed in her favor due to her relentless obsession and passion for it. But things only grew for her ever since she got involved with Eren and Levi, who had made a name for themselves in the entertainment industry. Considering she got close to them—and the few others who followed suit—she ended up gaining even more publicity and recognition. She's spoken at conferences, been interviewed, and was liked enough to be featured in other areas—specifically modeling. Her beauty and brains cultivated a perfect blend of her serious career and a little hobby on the side of indulging in photoshoots and walking down runways due to her unique appearance.

However, that's as far as she ever went.

Hange wasn't interested in brand deals. Not interested in the broad selection of opportunities in the entertainment industry. Modeling here and there was enough, because her focus was mostly on being a biomechanical engineer. That's it. So unlike Eren and the others, she wasn't promoting anything. She wasn't very interested in fame, but recognition for what she's created and how it has been impacting the lives of those who use her products. This being one of the many reasons why she's very celebrated yearly, not only from fans, but also from her close friends and family who acknowledge her hard and admirable work.

This leaves us in the present.
Everyone was in on it except Hange, because this was meant to be a planned surprise birthday party for her. And while everyone discussed how they were planning to get her out of the house to decorate—considering it's her day off—they knew they had to be strategic.

On top of that, they all needed to figure out what to get her. When it comes to gift giving, she was strangely one of the most difficult people to buy for. The majority of her interests revolved around educational things. She loves various scientific books and appreciates simple things. That's what made it so hard.

Eren was one of the first people to start panicking in a way, while Levi already had himself an idea of what to get her.

"I really don't know what to get her, holy shit." He exhaled heavily, pacing around the living room while trying to keep quiet since the woman was still soundly asleep upstairs. Levi was only watching him with his arms crossed, still deeply in thought but also curious as to what he was thinking of potentially getting her.

"What do you think she'd like?"

"A new camera? She likes to travel and take pictures, right? Wouldn't that work?"

The raven only nodded in agreement. It was true that she liked to travel around—from other countries to just different towns and cities—oftentimes go hiking or just spend time in nature with Erwin and Moblit. Those two always have the time to accompany her, even Mike here and there.
