WE DON'T TALK ABOUT LAST NIGHT

(Y/N) POV:

I woke up to a note that johnny had wrote saying he went to go buy food

Ponyboy soon woke up and yelled out for us
"I'm right here, johnny went to go get things he'll be back soon"

I got up and walked outside pony following behind me we rinsed our faces then we heard a whistle 

I looked in "who's there" pony yelled he then darted and fell in front of johnny "fancy meeting you here"

"What is there?" I asked seeing johnny holding a big crate walking over there i took out all the things

"Gone with the wind thanks johnny" pony exclaimed see the book

I saw something at the bottom of the crate there was a cheap pair of headphones*oh right* i had forgotten that my walkman player was in my pocket

I only had two cassette tape it was my fathers favorite song "only yesterday" and also a recording of my fathers voice saying that things are going to be okay

"Johnny-... You didn't have to,Thanks" i thanked him "no problem"

Ponyboy found a bottle "peroxide....johnny you ain't thinking of...-"

"We cant fit the description on the paper" johnny said

"No- not my hair" pony pleaded

Next thing he knew his hair was getting cut and bleached

"You next y/n" johnny announced

"Huh-" i say surprised

I sat down and johnny got to work on my hair

"oww god Johnny " i complained "sorry gosh" now my hair was shoulder length and bleached

-TIME SKIP-

We went inside and started talking as it was getting cold outside. "Last night...just last night we were walking Cherry and Marcia over to Two-Bit's. Just last night we were laying in the lot, looking up at the stars and dreaming..." pony started "Stop it!" Johnny gasped from between clenched teeth. "Shut up about last night!-"

"calm down Johnny we know you were only trying to protect yourself" i tried to calm down the Johnny
"i did it for us" i nodded my head acknowledging what Johnny said "i know" 

"its my fault, bringing y'all was a mistake taking a 13 year old and you with me" Johnny stated

"Im fourteen I've been fourteen for a month and we are are in it as much as you are" pony yelled and broke drown.johnny and i stood up and sat next to pony "don't cry pony we'll be fine" johnny comforted him pony then drifted into sleep
