We crouched in the weeds near the train tracks waiting for the perfect time to get in one of the box cart "now" johnny whisperer and we ran and then pulled ourselves up. We waited until the railroad worker checked and passed

We leaped off the train into a meadow i felt something wet on my back unfortunately we had landed on damp grass

"Gosh ponyboy you done put my legs to sleep" i said while rubbing my legs

"We will stay here just ask the first person you see where jay mountain is " i said

We were studying him "he should brush his hair and stop slouching like a thug" i suggested "yea" johnny agreed, ponyboy pulled out a comb and brushed his hair back

"You look awfully like sodapop except your eyes are green" johnny said

"They ain't green they gray, and i look as much as soda as you", " he's good looking " he exclaimed getting red

We climbed up the road to the old church we all felt sleepy it felt like our legs would give out at any second.It took us 45 minutes to get there
