Y/N POV

Looking down i saw how all of our steps were in sync, walking backwards was a thing that two-bit told us made you look cooler, and i couldn't help but think that was a little dumb

TIME SKIP

the blue mustang we noticed had been tailing us for eight blocks pulled into the parking lot of the tasty freeze, The soc's that had jumped pony, johnny and me at the park hopped out at the car, the moments from the park came running back to me, pony being drowned tbe bloody knife in johnnys hand the blood from my mouth and nose running down my neck, i felt like throwing up.

two-bit put his arms around ponys and I shoulders pulling us into him i saw a glint of fear in ponys eyes "You know the rules. No jazz before the rumble," I heard two-bit say "yeah yeah we know" randy said he then looked at me and pony "come here we wanna talk to you" he points at ponyboy

me and two-bit hesitantly let go of pony and he follows randy to his car. i watch at a distance trying to read their lips,i was confused and wonder what he wanted.

pony soon comes back "What'd Mr.SuperSoc have to say?" two-bit asked him. "He ain't a soc...hes a normal guy who just wanted to talk." pony responded as he lit up another cigarette. "we better get a move on" i say wanting to change the subject knowing i would just ask pony about it later.

-TIME SKIP-

after a while of arguing with the nurses the doctor finally allowed us to see johnny and dally. we followed the nurse to johnnys first.

he was laying on his stomach shirtless you could see the burns on his upper body "hey johnnycakes" i start in a soft voice "...how are you feeling? do you need anything?" i pull up a chair and sit down next to him resting a hand on his back

"hey y/n....i feel fine just wish i had gel for my hair" he finally responds after sometime,i softly laugh i mumble a 'thats good' my thumb brushing back and forth.

two-bit breaks the silence by showing him the newspaper that he was on and and asking if he needed anything else "a good book" johnny said. "i think he wants gone with the wind...could you go down and get me a copy" pony asked two-bit. "sure ill go see the gift shop" and with that he leaves

"...you know they say i wont be able to walk no more" johnny says "you'll be okay" pony tries to cheer him up, "but theres so many things i haven't done or seen and now i wont even be able to walk on crutches" johnny argues "dont you talk like that" i accidentally slightly yell "yo-your speakin nonsense now, you know i would do anything for you even if thats carrying you wherever you want" i continue. "im right there with you y/n" pony says. johnny doesn't respond.

two-bit walks in setting down the book a nurse following soon after telling johnny his mom is here to see him and they argued for bit before johnny passed out, the nurse hurried us out of the door.

as we stood at the dood two-bit turned abruptly "lets go see dal" we follow after him.

As we walked in dal was arguing with the nurses, he ginned at us. "Man am i glad to see y'all, i want out. they wont let me have a smoke!". we laughed at sat down next to each other, dal was his usual self. we talked for a while telling what happened and how johnny was. "two-bit you still got that fancy switch blade?" dally asked, two-bit nodded."give it here". my eyebrow raised "what are you gonna do with it" i asked as two-bit handed him the switch blade.

he goes silent before saying "we gotta win this fight,get even with the soc's... johnny." and with that he put the blade under his pillow and lays on his back, staring at the ceiling. he had that look in his eyes one where you knew not to bother him.

as we walked back home after getting off the bus we ran into to cherry, i gave her a slight nod before me and two-bit walked to the Curtis's house. i fell asleep as soon as my body relaxed on the couch.

a/n: umm hello! was gonna use the nickname cupcake for johnny because of arcane but chose against it. also this chapter is kinda booty cheeks ngl
