It was now February 15th, which means it was Venus's 20th birthday in two days.

Venus and Carmen were sitting in the library, writing an essay for herbology.
"I received a letter from my mother, she wants me to go home for my birthday, and Draco is allowed to come too" she said to Carmen with a bright smile on her face. She loved that her mother was so accepting.

Carmen smiled at her "that's great Veen, you should go and celebrate it this year, you haven't done that since— since your father passed away" Carmen said, hesitating to bring up the topic.

Venus sighed "I know Car, I just couldn't celebrate life when a piece of me died with him that day. But ever since I have Draco, I start to see things as I used to see them, and I actually start to enjoy the little things again"

Carmen gave her a sympathetic look and side hugged her "he really makes you happy, doesn't he?"

Venus bit her lip "oh Car you have no idea, I just love him so much, and he makes me feel so special. He calls me his moon Car, do you know how fucking romantic that is?! And don't get me started on the mind blowing orgasms" she said with a groan.
She saw Carmen look behind her and giggle. Venus furrowed her eyebrows "what are you—" but she got interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
Venus snapped her head around "oh hello professor" she said with her cheeks getting redder by the minute.

He snorted "the library is deserted, no need for formalities princess" he said and kissed her cheek making her blush harder.

"So how much of that did you hear?" Venus said while playing with her quill, feeling quite embarrassed.
He leaned against their table next to her. He looked down at her with a devilish grin.

"I heard something about... mind blowing orgasms?" He said with fake innocence, making Carmen snort. Venus groaned and slammed her head against the table.

"I'm sorry you had to hear that" she mumbled, barely audible.

He snickered "that's not the most vulgar thing I've heard come out of your mouth V, don't be embarrassed" this made her groan even more and Carmen laugh louder.

"I sometimes forget you're not all that innocent Veen, it still shocks me" Carmen said, joining in with this strange conversation as if the three of them are best friends.

This made Draco snort "innocent? Venus? Those two don't go together" this made Venus lift her head and flip them both off.

"I'm going to take a piss, enjoy each other's company, since you're obviously best friends already" she said and walked off, and she could hear them both laugh.

Draco's POV:
He went to sit down opposite of Carmen and grabbed Venus's essay, checking for any mistakes, and corrected them. "What are you doing?" Carmen asked with one eyebrow raised at him.

He looked up at her "I'm fixing her homework a little, don't want her to fail, duh" he said it as if what he was doing wasn't illegal. He saw the way Carmen's eyebrows flew up to her hairline.

"You must love her very much then, if they find out you two will be in big trouble" she whispered as if there was anybody else in the library.
He smiled at her "it's still weird to see you smile like that professor, in class you're always so... serious, mad, arrog—" "I get it Miss Parkinson" He interrupted her with his eyebrow raised. I am not arrogant, how dare she!
