I See Stars When You're On My Mind

For once, it was like he actually had a heart. Hanako couldn't stop thinking of his lovely, but troublesome, assistant. The apparition sighed, deciding to float around the campus to try and find said assistant- yet it was obvious she wasn't there, even with the help of the mokke.

As the boy ventured the campus, he took note that it was actually after school hours, much to his disappointment, but it couldn't be helped that Nene hasn't visited as often now... She was busy with school and getting through her homework and classes, but it didn't seem like she was even trying to visit him.

"Where could she be? Did she forget about me? I hope not..."

The boy floated back to the toilets and hunkered down into his stall, staring at the little note that he and Nene made, it was cheesy, but it made him feel better about days where he was alone in the school.

On the other side of the coin, Nene knew she wasn't seeing Hanako as much, and she wanted to catch up with him- it was just the point of time, it was her second year... She was still wary of how short her life is, considering that her life is somehow cut short by the fate she had since birth, much to her displeasure.

There was a little lightbulb that went off in her mind, she had to text Kou and ask him to profusely ask for forgiveness about not seeing the ghost as often, he would understand, right? Or at least she hoped so, then it would be a waste of time and make the apparition boy more rowdy than Tsukasa.

[Time skip]

Seeing as it had been the weekend, Nene was now back at the school on a lovely Monday, yet she didn't expect to get swarmed by Mokke and dragged to the older school. To be completely honest, she half expected this, considering that Hanako was a clingy ghost and she let him cling to her. Nene sighed, going to the stall and knocking, walking back and holding her arms out a bit, half expecting a hug, but got yoinked instead.

Was she going to a boundary again? Or did something happen to the ghost boy? There were many questions and she needed them figured out! Yet, as soon as she was gently placed down by the mystical force that pulled her into the boundary, she couldn't stop herself from staring at the starry sky, even if it wasn't particularly real.

"Yashiro? How did you.... No, it doesn't matter... You might be a figment that the boundary created..."

The statement made the girl a bit skeptical, she was here when Hanako didn't even drag her here, something was up. Nene trudged over to the ghost boy,staring him down and wondering why she was there, it donned on her that Hanako might be skipping out on his duties due to her absences which give into why she got dragged her by some force.

"I was half expecting you to tackle hug me when I knocked, but you didn't show and I was dragged here to get your lazy butt back to the school, you have been skipping out on your duties because I wasn't there for a few days, so now we gotta get out and find this new rumor apparition... "

Even though she was saying all this, Hanako didn't move, he just stayed in his spot, which made Nene pout. She sighed, going Infront of the boy and picking him up from under the arms, not expecting the boy to stretch out like long cat- 'how... Hanako you are weird...'

Seeing as he was picked up, Hanako had to rethink if he ever made a Nene for his boundary, the dull look in his amber eyes fading away as he hugged onto her after finalizing that he never had a boundary Nene due to the real one being there constantly.

"Where were you?! You just disappeared on me and never shown up again..."

" Hanako-kun.... Did Kou not tell you? I'm still a bit iffy about being around school due to my... Unexpected life span... But I decided to toss that worry for when it goes down... Wanna get out of your boundary and back to the school? I think I have doughnuts back in the bathroom- unless the Mokke are them already... GAHK- OK WE ARE GOING NOW I GUESS!?"

At any mention of doughnuts, Hanako will always go back to the bathrooms and yoink one, but now that they are back, the little bag they came in was just crumbs... The Mokke all scattered while a hungry Hanako chased after them with his knife, shouting something along the lines of "NEVER TOUCH THE DOUGHNUTS YASHIRO-SAN MADE FOR MEEEEE"

Nene was happy again, looking outside of the bathroom window, she came here on her break, of course she had a 3 day weekend, but Hanako didn't know that, so she decided to spend the day with him and make him doughnuts again. It was all to make him feel better, because she knows she won't be there for much longer.

"HANAKO-KUN! WAIT FOR ME!"
