It was a lot to take in, but Nene decided to live with it, she could think about it the next morning, she wanted to sleep more.

As soon as Nene woke up in a cold sweat, she remembered, she was safe. She was home. She felt someone's hand on hers. It felt warm. Nene turned around to find Amane asleep next to her, his hair messy, his mouth slightly open, and his eyes closed. He looked really peaceful. Nene felt something warm inside her chest and couldn't help herself but smile. Amane was still sleeping, he looked so cute.
Suddenly, Nene realized that it was not the time for her to be thinking about this kind of thing, she had studies to do, even if she was half cat half human, the human that owned the house still made them get a bit of education. Nene pulled away from Amane's warmth, which was still there and started getting ready to leave. Nene walked over to Amane's closet, grabbed some clothes and went to shower. When Nene finished with her shower, she went downstairs to grab breakfast, which she had to change into her cat form to eat, because it was boring cat food. "Why do we even have to eat this? we are human enough to eat human food...." the only ones up was her and Tsukasa, considering the human of the house had a job and kinda left them on their own, but nonetheless, it was peaceful.

Tsukasa was sitting on the couch watching cartoons on the TV as his cat self and happily playing with a mouse toy he had in his paws, not paying much mind to Nene as she hopped up to see what he was watching, regretting the choice as she witnessed a gorey scene "WHY ARE YOU WATCHING HAPPY TREE FRIENDS??? You should at least watch something that won't give you ideas!" Tsukasa snickered at Nene's reaction, he was the morbid one of the four that lived in the house.

Amane had woken up about an hour later, seemingly more miserable due to Nene leaving him by himself. "Neneeeeee why did you leave meeeee it was cold...." Nene turned her head to the boy, he was still in human form, so he had picked up Nene and held her "I wake up at a normal time when I'm in human form, so you deal with that until I decide that I stay near you or wake you up with me."
"But how come I'm cold?" Nene just looked down at defeat before turning towards the kitchen to look for snacks and drinks, shifting her form to get there faster "because you're the dumbass who doesn't know how to use heating..." Tsukasa snorted at the statement.
"You said you were going to cook breakfast, so let's go, you wanted doughnuts, right?" Both boys perked up at the mention of the fried pastry, happily getting up from their spots and grabbing items to help make it, like flour and oil.

The boys had spent a good amount of time making a mess, they weren't giving Nene a break, but they all enjoyed the process, so it didn't matter to either of them. They had gotten everything together and were preparing dinner for later, eating their fresh doughnuts and strawberry filled rice cakes that the house owner had bought after questioning Nene a bunch.

after each of them had 3 doughnuts, they all went to the couch, going back to their cat forms and cuddling while watching a nicer show, taking a needed cat nap, except for one. Nene couldn't sleep with the fact that she was being watched, even if the windows were covered by the curtains, it doesn't say much about the door.
