"Only you are safe when I interfere, well well, I have Yashiro-san as a yorishiro now... And since she is mortal.... She won't actually disappear!"

His words echoed throughout the halls, but Nene paid no mind, she had a dream boy to fawn over, and fawn she did- he was quite cute and she wanted to meet him again.

Many times after Nene fell asleep, she wouldn't dream of the boy, but instead of a constant nightmare. It had gotten to the point of staying up to not witness it again, yet she did need sleep, so she took melatonin to softly knock herself into a dreamless sleep. Much to her surprise, she woke up on time, staring at her ceiling and wondering about that boy she dreamt of at school 'maybe that's how I dream of him again... Mom doesn't come home until 12.. so she won't notice me gone, and Dad works overseas.... It shouldn't be too bad.'

Nene arrived at Kamome with Aoi in tow, both chatting about what they would be doing during the day and hearing what rumors are going around, mainly the usual of someone liking someone else or who was seen going out with who. Although it wasn't uncommon to see who anyone was hanging out with, they were all high schoolers after all. After arriving at the school gates, Teru walked over to the two girls, Aoi looking at the taller boy and nodding, skittering off to get ready for class.

"I need to talk with you for a sec.... Are you feeling alright? Yesterday you were here... but the teachers never saw you in class until late afternoon, did something happen?" He truly did sound concerned if not for the fact that he suspected something spiritual. Nene tilted her head in confusion, almost facepalming herself "oh that- I guess I was more tired than usual yesterday... I think I passed out in the bathroom... I'm not hurt or anything! It was just odd though there was a strange silhouette and then an even weirder dream... but the dream was nice!" Teru hummed, nodding to himself as he smiled softly to Nene, who in turn didn't feel the same fawning she did on the first day...

"That's good to hear!" He replied with relief, Nene blinking owlishly "you're not confused?" She wondered aloud, Teru giving her a reassuring look "of course not! I was worried since it could have been dangerous and the last thing we want is you getting hurt, it is my duty to keep students safe after all." Nene felt relieved hearing this, nodding happily at the words, although looking at her phone for the time, slightly panicking "Ah! I gotta get to class, bye Minamoto-kun!" With a small wave, Nene left to go to class, catching up to Aoi before the bell rang, signalling class start.

The rest of the day went by smoothly, with Nene occasionally being reminded to not slack off on assignments due to a lack of studying, but also not being there for the first day,  and Aoi also reminding her that she needs to study to catch up in school work. After school, Nene headed to the Garden, looking at the already planted seeds and deciding to water them, humming to herself while doing the small chore, making sure not to step into the other plants that were already growing.

After finishing watering the garden, Nene decided to take a quick break, leaning back against the fence and sighing, her thoughts drifting to her dreams. What had prompted those dreams to pop up randomly, and why were they only about the one boy? Usually she dreamt of strawberry sweets and the otomé boys from her game... Could it actually be? Maybe... She didn't really know, but what she did know was that nagging feeling was back, sighing she stood straight and looked around, staring up at the girl's bathroom where a shadow was, yet after she blinked it was gone, promting her to go find out what it was that was staring at her, she didn't want to be caught doing anything weird by the other girls, she was already called a daikon, and she never liked that.
