Chapter 1: The King meets the Queen

'Fuck, this, feels, amazing.' Eren thought as he lay on his bed covered by his soft new comforter and pillow, 'I'm on cloud 9 baby, i have never slept this well in my entire life, i wish this would last forev--' EEEEEH EEEEH EEEEEH 'Damn.' Eren thought as he threw the comforters off of him and rubbed his eyes. He turned the alarm off and walked into the bathroom.

He stared into the mirror witnessing the horror called his hair, "Crap, I hate bedhead..." Eren said to himself as he turned the shower on, "Even though the shower fixes the problem I would love to just wake up on day with my hair straight." Eren said to himself as he adjusted the water temperature.

"Eren please stop talking to yourself honey, it's still early." His mom said as she walked past the bathroom to the kitchen. Eren rolled his eyes and closed the bathroom door. He started taking off his clothes and stepped into the shower.

"OH SHIT!" Eren shouted as he turned the water off, "Damn that was hot." Eren said as he turned the water back on and adjusted the temperature. 'Ahh much better....' Eren thought as he let the cool water run down his back.

After about 5 minutes Eren turned the water off and grabbed his towel. He dried himself off a bit and wrapped the towel around his waist and then grabbed the deodorant from the counter.

After he did the small things like brushing his teeth and using mouthwash he headed back into his room to grab his ROTC uniform and slipped it on. He walked into the kitchen and drank some orange juice before grabbing his house key and heading out.

He pulled his phone out of his pocket and went through his contacts, he then called one of his best friends, "Hey Armin." Eren said. "Hey Eren whats up?" Armin asked. "I was wondering if after school you wanted to hang out, I asked Mikasa if she wanted to come so it's just gonna be us three I was thinking possibly we can go see a movie or something." Eren said.

"Yeah sure, I won't be busy later so I don't mind." Armin said. "Alright great, see ya at school." Eren said as he hung up and finally made it to the bus stop. He waited a bit before the bus arrived, he put the money in the box and headed to one of the seats in the back.

He soon started to doze off until he heard his phone go off. He answered the phone, "What's up Mikasa?" Eren asked. "Did you remember your house key, and books?" Mikasa asked. Eren sighed and waited a second, "Mikasa, you are not my mother, you are my sister, now please stop calling me every morning to make sure I have my things." Eren said with an annoyed tone.

"Eren I'm just looking out for you." Mikasa said with her normal stern tone. 'Here it goes...' Eren thought to himself. "I just want to make sure that you are prepared for the school day and that you don't forget anything.........." The rest Eren just blocked out and he started to doze off once more.

"Eren I hope that your listening." Mikasa said. No response. "Eren...." Mikasa said once more. Still no Response. "I swear to god, EREN YEAGER!" Mikasa yelled. She heard a shuffling noise in the background. "Hello?" Eren answered.

"Eren I can't believe that you weren't listening I Swear to--" Eren hung up and put his phone away 'Thank God.' Eren thought to himself as he soon neared his stop.

Eren walked through the front gates of his school. As he walked by he saw several girls looking at him from afar. He faced their direction, smiled and waved and continued into the school. He saw several people from ROTC and waved at them as he walked.

He eventually ran into Jean, Marco, and Armin. "Hey guys." Eren said. Jean waved and so did the others. "How's it going?" Eren asked. "Eh, it's not terrible and it's not great." Jean said. Marco smiled, "It going great, what about you Eren?' Marco asked.

"Not that great, I got the usual from Mikasa this morning on the bus, and I was up for awhile finishing my English report, also don't forget I was thinking about what Ms.Zoe was going to make us do during Biology." Eren said with a tired look on his face, "Also I just wanted to sleep." Eren said.

Armin smiled, "Don't we all." he said. Eren nodded, "True that." he said. The bell soon rang and everyone scurried off towards their classes. Eren sat in English class reading a book passing the time.

He looked over to his left to look at a blonde haired girl who couldn't have been over 5'5. Annie Leonhardt. She was beautiful, Smart, and one of the only girls who weren't surrounding Eren 24/7.

He always wanted to talk to her but whenever he got close she always ended up having to go somewhere else. Bad timing or she was just ignoring him, maybe both? Eren didn't know, but he kept trying to think of way's to get closer to her.

He watched her for a good three minutes before deciding that he was honestly being a creep and should stop staring at her. It was honestly quite difficult to peel his eyes off her, she was just....enchanting.

Before he knew it English was over and he moved on towards his next class and the next one and the next one until it was finally the end of the day and he made it into biology class.

Ms.Zoe greeted them cheerfully like she did everyday. It was kind of creepy honestly, so cheerful all the time, hell even when someone ended up destroying the lab equipment she was cheerful and seemed to not give a damn, she was quite something.

Ms.Zoe surprised everyone by telling them she was assigning partners for a project that would end up lasting the entire year. One by one she had assigned partners to people and Eren had turned beet red when he heard that his partner would be none other than Annie Leonhardt.
