Chapter 10: Smile

Eren sat in his room, staring at his phone constantly checking the time, debating whether or not to call Annie or not. 'She might think I'm creepy....' Eren thought to himself as he put his phone down trying his best not to check the time, or to see if Annie had texted him. Sadly Eren was not able to last even a minute, he checked his phone once more, as if it would magically change time. Eren decided to walk over to Mikasa's room and knocked on the door. Mikasa soon opened the door, "what's up Eren?" she asked. "Take my phone." was all Eren said as he handed Mikasa the phone and ran downstairs. Mikasa looked at his phone than at his retreating figure, she raised in eyebrow in confusion, but stopped realizing that when she thinks too much about Eren's actions she tends to get headaches. So Mikasa walked back into her room, Eren's phone in hand. She closed the door and locked it sitting back down on her bed, pulling out her phone too see she had a text from Marcus. She giggled as she texted back, but soon jumped as she heard a loud thump. She put down her phone and opened the door. She found Eren laying on the floor a bump on his head, before Mikasa could say anything, "I tried busting down your door with my head...." Eren said still laying on the floor. Mikasa sighed, "Eren why would you even think of attempting this?" she asked. "I don't know, I guess I really just want my phone back is all..." Eren said still lying on the floor. Mikasa bent down and set his phone on his head, "I'm gonna go back in my room now, please don't try busting it down with your head again." Mikasa said as she closed the door and walked back to her bed. Eren sat up and grabbed his phone, he soon went over to Annie's contact and called her. 'I really hope she picks up...' Eren thought to himself as the phone rang. To Eren's surprise she picked up and answered with a simple, "Hello." "H-hey An-annie." Eren said. "You alright there Eren?" Annie asked. "Huh, o-oh yeah just peachy, I was just wondering if I should come and get you now, so that we can get started on our project." Eren said eagerly waiting for her reply. "Yeah sure, just let me get ready, shouldn't be long, oh and Eren I'll text you the address." she said. "Alright, see you soon." Eren said as he hung up, a smile popped up on his face as he ran downstairs and grabbed his keys, and then ran outside to his car. He opened the car door and practically threw himself inside. He then closed the door and put the key into the ignition and turned. He then closed the door and put on his seat belt.  He backed out of the driveway and took a quick glance at his phone, Annie had sent her address to him, he knew the area, it was across town but he had been in that area several times before. He soon began his drive to Annie's home. He would flip through radio stations constantly, most of the music just bored him though, except every now and then a song would come on that made his drive over even more exciting for him.Thankfully while driving Eren was able to find a radio station that had a lot of the music that he normally listened too. On the drive over to Annie's, Eren was hit with a stroke of luck as mainly fast paced rock and roll music had been playing the entire drive, making things seem to go a lot faster. He finally showed up in front of Annie's home and soon parked the car, nervous and excited. Eren took a few deep breaths and opened the car, stepped out, and closed the car door. He then began walking slowly towards her house. Soon he was at the door, he gave a quick knock. He then heard someone walking towards the door. The door flew open and there stood the tiny blonde. Eren looked at her up and down and could not believe his eyes, he felt as if he was being deceived, even though she looked as if she had literally rolled out of bed, she still looked as if she could be a magazine cover girl. Eren snapped out of his little daze and flashed Annie a smile, "Hey!" was all he was really able to say without stuttering and mixing up his words. "Hey." was what Annie replied with as she grabbed her bag that was sitting next to the door. The two stood there in awkward silence until Eren decided to pipe up and speak, "So, uhmm, would you like to start heading back to my place?" Eren asked still standing up straight, he even noticed that he had been standing at the position of attention the entire time. "yeah, sure, let's go." Annie replied. The two were still standing in the same positions, not on of them moving an inch until Eren finally decided to snap himself out of his little state of confusion. He began walking to the car, he looked behind his shoulder to find Annie finishing locking up her house and making her way over to Eren. Eren snapped his neck back to face the car, and once he reached the passenger side door he swung it open for Annie. She thanked him and sat in the car, he closed the door and began heading towards the driver's side, he soon entered the car, closed the door, and began the drive back to his home. As Eren was driving home he could not believe the fact that the girl that he fell in love with is sitting next to him, all he could do was smile.

Holy Mother of God, I have returned, Oh My it has been awhile my friends, I apologize sincerely for the long absence. My hiatus dragged on longer than I expected it too, a lot of things with family and friends, along with other personal problems made things difficult to update on anything, but i'm finally back, and I'm very glad too be back, I hope you guys enjoy the new chapter, and trust me when I say this I have very, VERY, big plans for this story, and Next Chapter a new character that I have been anticipating to introduce to you all will finally make his big debut. I'll see you guys later, I promise I won't disappear again.  :^)
