Chapter 9: Sasha and Connie

Connie watched as Eren left the Cafeteria and soon noticed that Annie had walked out of the Cafeteria as well. Connie shrugged it off and directed his gaze back towards the always hungry brunette. He honestly thought that Sasha looked adorable when she ate unlike the others who were kind of grossed out. He caught himself staring and turned his gaze elsewhere, he didn't want her to see him staring at her did he. Connie looked out the window trying his best not too look back over at Sasha. He really liked Sasha for awhile now, ever since they were playing in the sandbox together he knew that he had fallen in love with her. When he was younger he would always come up with different scenarios where in the end him and Sasha would have a fairy tale ending, but he could never make those scenarios come true. "Yo Connie, your pretty quiet, you all right?" Marco asked him, a hint of worry in his eyes. Connie smiled, "Yeah things are pretty good." Connie said. Marco smiled softly, "Alright, well if there's anything bothering you, just come and talk to me." Marco said as he turned back to face the others. Connie took one last glance as he sighed and stood up, and walked out of the cafeteria, what Connie didn't realize was that Sasha was watching him as he left. Connie was making his way back to his classroom checking his watch every now and then, "I've got plenty of time left." Connie mumbled to himself as he began walking at a slower pace. Connie soon made his way into a nearby stairwell and sat on the stairs checking his watch once more, "15 minutes." he said to himself as he pulled out his phone and saw that he had a text message from Sasha. "Hey baldy what the hell is up with you leaving lunch so early, you missed all the great food an everything, either way I wanted to know if you could meet me at my place after school today I have something that I need help with and you are the only guy who can help me." soon another text message was sent by Sasha, "Also if you could bring like some food with ya or something that would be wonderful." Connie smiles and replies to her saying yes, before leaving the stairwell to continue his day.

Finally the school day is over and Connie walks over to his locker and retrieves his skateboard and a few books. He slides the books into his bag and makes his way outside the school. He puts his skateboard down and begins riding towards the nearest convenience store. He soon arrives and gets several bags of chips a few candy bars and two drinks. He walks up to the clerk and she gives him a funny look as she rings the items up. Connie just gives her a smile and pays for the stuff. He stuffs the food and drinks into his bag and begins riding his skateboard towards Sasha's house. "How the hell does Sasha not weigh like 5,000 pounds?" Connie says to himself. "She must do a shit ton of exercise." He says to himself, "Wait no, that's not right, she barely ever exercises..." Connie says clearly stumped. Before long he arrives at the Braus household. He hops off of his skateboard and runs up to the door, he knocks a few times and he hears footsteps. Sasha open the door with a grin. "Hey Connie ol' pal, you got the food?" Connie smiles and rolls his eyes, "Yes I have the food." Sasha's smile widens even more, "Well then what are you waiting for come in!" she says.

Connie sits on the couch next to Sasha smiling at her while she ate, she soon noticed and faced him giving him one her own goof smiles. Connie sighs, "Alright, so what was the problem you needed help with?" Connie asks. Sasha looks over at Connie with a confused look, "What?" she asks. "You know, the problem you were having, that's why I came over in the first place." Connie said. Sasha stares at Connie with a blank expression until it finally dawned on her, "Oh right, I just wanted to chill and eat some food with you!" Sasha says with a big smile. Connie's eyebrow twitched and he wanted to get up and leave, but Connie soon laughed and his expression softened, he then decided that this was a golden opportunity and that he should take advantage of this situation. So what does Connie do he ends up taking Sasha's bag of chips away, causing her to chase him around and tackle him to the floor. 'Good work Connie you already fucked up!' Connie thought to himself. It took Connie a few minutes to realize that Sasha was on top of him which caused his face to go beet red, Sasha soon realized what type of position she was in and ended up backing away from Connie a slight tint of pink on her cheeks.  "S-sorry!" Sasha said, "N-no it's fine don't worry about it!" Connie said. The two sat in silence facing away from each other, their faces still red. "H-hey Connie." Sasha said, breaking the silence between the two. "Yeah..." Connie replied. "Why did you leave earlier?" She asked. Connie froze, he couldn't tell her the real reason, he couldn't tell her, "Oh I left because I couldn't help but stare at you the entire time."  there was silence between the two and Sasha spoke up once more, "Connie is that really the reason?" Sasha said now facing him her face completely red. Connie soon realized that he accidentally said that last bit out loud, 'No point in hiding it now.' Connie thought to himself. Connie sighs and scoots closer to Sasha, "Sasha listen, I've been wanting to say this for a long time now, ever since we were kids I've had a crush on you, and that crush became bigger and bigger to the point where I can't even be in the same room as you because i'm afraid that you will see me looking at you, people think that your weird because of how you act and everything but that's what makes you special, that's what makes you an amazing person, Sasha....I love you!" Connie shouts as he plants his lips on Sasha's, to Connie's surprise he can feel her arms wrap around his neck. She soon pulls away and Connie can see tears in her eyes, "I love you too..." Sasha says as she leans in for another kiss.
