Chapter 8: "Are You Free Tonight?"

Hey guys, I want to take some time to address that i choose this video because one I like the song, and I'm a huge fan of Team Fortress 2 so I couldn't help but use this video, ok since I got that out of the way, hope you enjoy the story.

Eren dragged himself out of bed and did his normal morning routine, he showered, brushed his teeth put on some deodorant and made sure his hair was presentable. He double checked his bag to make sure he had all of his things. He yawned and walked outside, he unlocked the car and got in, before he turned the ignition he noticed some of his friends jogging towards his car. Eren raised an eyebrow and stepped back out of the car. Jean, Armin, Marco and Connie soon reached him. "Uh, what are you guys doing here?" Eren asked, his eyebrow still raised in confusion. "Why are YOU here." Connie retorted, Eren and the others gave him a disappointed look and shook their heads, "He lives here dumbass." Jean said clearly disappointed in Connie. Connie's eyes widened, "He does!" Connie exclaimed as if he just discovered a new species. Marco smiled and ignored Connie and turned to face Eren a smile plastered on his face, "Well Eren, we were just wanting to know if you could give us a ride, the bus we normally take, kind of left without us." Marco said. Eren looked at his phone and sighed, "Yeah you guys can ride with me, just learn to get to the bus on time." Eren said as got in his car and started it up. Armin sat up front and the other three sat in back. Eren  began the drive towards the school, the car was silent, dead silent until Jean broke the silence and brought up 'The' subject. "So Eren, it seems you and Annie have been getting little closer." Jean said with a smile. Eren nodded, "Yeah I guess you could say that." Eren said as he stopped at one of the lights. "You ask her out yet?" Connie asked. Eren looked back at Connie, "heh, I wish I had the balls to do it, honestly I don't think i'm ever going to be able to do it." Eren chuckled as he began driving again as the light turned green. Rmin looked over at Eren and smiled, "You should believe in yourself a little more Eren, you have to be confident." Armin said. "Trust me, it's quite hard being confident around Annie, she's the type of girl where if you say one wrong thing, your most likely going to die." Eren said. Armin looked at Eren his face frozen in horror, He was finally able to speak, "W-will she r-really...." Armin said. eren nodded slowly, "Yeah probably." Eren said. "Eren tell me again why you like scary people so much." Jean said.

Eren finally pulls up into the parking lot. The four who had caught a ride with Eren got out of the car and waved bye to Eren as they ran off to go meet up with someone. Eren looked at his phone, 'Looks like I have a little spare time.' Eren thought to himself as he set an alarm on his phone, he then laid his head back and closed his eyes. He soon found himself standing on a dance floor, he looked around and saw people dancing having fun, he even saw some familiar faces, then he saw Annie standing in front of him. She was in a beautiful gold dress. She looked like a goddess, Eren was in a daze until he noticed that Annie was getting closer to him and she had an obvious blush on her face, 'She looks so cute when she blushes...' Eren thought. Annie soon grabbed his hand and looked up to face him, "E-Eren I LOVE YOU!" Annie shouted as got on the tip of her toes to kiss Eren. Eren felt the warmth radiating from her body, the feeling of her smooth lips on his, it was if he died and went to heaven. Eren could faintly hear a beeping sound, he pulled away from the kiss and looked around, nothing. The noise got louder and louder, Eren then realized that everything he was experiencing was a dream. He woke up in his car, and found the alarm and turned it off. He then grabbed his belongings and stepped out the car shutting the door behind him. He then sighed as he made his way into the building.

Lunch had finally rolled around but Eren wasn't very hungry, he just sat there and picked at his food. Mikasa looked over at Eren, "Eren is everything alright?" she asked. Eren nodded, "Yeah just not very hungry." Eren said still picking at his food. Sasha who was across from Eren eyes his food, Eren had noticed that she seemed to be sweating and looked as if she was going to pounce. "Uhh Sasha if you want you ca---" Eren was cut off as Sasha quickly took the tray and began devouring everything there. 'Jeez.' Eren though to himself as he stared at Sasha still eating the food he gave her. "Hey Eren." Armin said as he walked up to the table tray in hand along with Jean, Marco and Marcus. Eren waved at the four. "Oh hey Armin, do you think I can copy your notes I didn't have the time to finish yesterday." Marcus asked Armin shook his head as he took a sip from his water. "Marco?" Marcus asked Marco shook his head, "Jean." Jean looked over at Marcus, "Sur-no." Jean said with a smirk. Marcus sneered at Jean and turned to Eren, "Eren please, you gotta help me!" Marcus begged. "Sorry man, my work is my work." Eren said as he looked at his phone. Marcus sighed, "Have some compassion you guys!" Marcus said trying to pull of the puppy dog face. They all looked at him and said, "No." Marcus pushed his tray over to Sasha, "Here Sasha I'm not that hungry anymore." Marcus said hanging his head low. Eren just rolled his eyes. "Complain all you want nobody's gonna give it to ya'" Eren said still looking at his phone. He soon stood up and started walking away, "Eren where are you going?" Mikasa asked, "I'm just heading out for a bit, I have some time before lunch ends." Eren replies, "Mind if I come with?" Mikasa asks. Eren shakes his head, "I'm meeting up with someone." Eren said before he left.

Eren stood out by the Sakura trees watching the flowers fall gently to the ground, the wind would then pick them up once more and send them floating in the air once more. Eren soon noticed the small blonde walking towards him. "Why did you call me to come over here, if you wanted to talk we could have just talked in the lunch room." Annie said. "I know but I wanted to talk to you in private." Annie blushed slightly, "W-why in private?" Annie asked. Eren rubbed the back of his neck, "I-I wanted to know if you were free tonight is all." Eren said nervously. Annie's face became beet red, her mouth open slightly shocked by Eren's question. Eren soon realized what she was most likely thinking, "I uh I mean I meant if you were free that maybe we could get started on our project you know." Eren blurted out. Annie still blushing slowly nodded, "Y-yeah, I'm free tonight...." Annie said. Eren smiled "Great, I'll pick you up later ok." Eren said as he walked off waving at Annie. Annie watched Eren leave and noticed that the flowers seemed to follow Eren as he walked.
