Chapter 4: Date #1, Sorta?

Eren walked into the diner and found Marcus sitting in a booth across from Annie, she saw Annie smile slightly at something Marcus was telling her. Her smile was beautiful, Eren could have stood there for hours just staring at her smile had not someone behind him ushered him forward. "Hey buddy can you move please?" Someone behind Eren asked in an annoyed tone. "S-sorry." Eren apologized as he moved out of the persons way an towards Annie and Marcus's table. Out of the corner of his eye Marcus saw Eren coming closer to the table and smirked, "Well Annie I gotta head out enjoy your day." Marcus said, and before Annie could say anything Marcus sprinted out the door and Eren had taken his place. Annie turned to face Eren with a raised eyebrow. Eren scratched his neck and laughed nervously and his cheeks became redder and redder by the second. "So, I'm going to take a wild guess here and assume that Reiner and Bertholdt won't be showing up." Annie said. Eren laughed nervously, "Yeah, Marcus kind of set this whole thing up." Eren said. Annie raised her eyebrow once more, "Marcus set this up?" She asked. "Yeah, I had wanted to get closer to you and well he was one of your closest friends and I turned to him for help, so he kind of set this up." Eren said. Surprisingly Annie giggled and there was a slight tint of pink on her cheeks. Eren's eyes widened and his heart beat had gotten faster, he felt as if his heart would explode then and there. 'S-so cute...' he thought to himself. "I'm surprised Marcus was able to set up any type of plan, considering he can barely even do math." Annie said. Eren laughed, "Yeah, I honestly don't even know how he hasn't been held back yet?" he said. "I don't think even he knows why he hasn't been held back." Annie said. Eren laughed and before they knew it the two of them spent hours just sitting there talking to each other. Annie looked at her phone to see the time and sighed, "Sorry Eren, I have to leave, if i don't head home soon my parents are going to through a little hissy fit." Annie said as she stood up. Eren quickly stood up, "If you want I can walk you home?" Eren offered. Annie sighed and nodded. Soon the two walked out of the diner and began the journey to Annie's home. In 15 minutes the two showed up at Annie's front door. Annie made her way to the door and began unlocking it. She soon opened the door but before she walked inside she turned to look at Eren, "I had fun today, lets hang out again sometime." Annie said before walking inside and shutting the door. Eren stood outside still looking at the door, his face completely red and his heart felt as if it would pop out of his chest. "She.....she wants to hang out again!" Eren smiled and jumped in the air with excitement. He soon ran off whooping and cheering, "MARCUS'S PLAN ACTUALLY WORKED!" Eren shouted as he ran back home. A few of the pedestrians shrugged and said things like, "Thats great I guess." and "Thats pretty cool.......freak.".

Once Eren got home he was still screaming like a little schoolgirl and acting as if he had just won the god damn lottery. As Eren stopped jumping around he noticed that Mikasa and Marus were both sitting in the living room. Marcus flashed Eren a grin, "I'm gonna take a guess it worked." Marcus said. Eren nodded and kept smiling. Mikasa smiled at her brother, "Congratulations Eren." Mikasa said. "I told her." Marcus answered before Eren even asked. Eren shrugged, too happy to care. "One thing though, you two aren't even going out so i don't quite understand why your so happy?" Mikasa asked. Eren and Marcus both turned to Mikasa, both glaring at her. "Don't ruin my/his moment." they both said in unison. Mikasa just put her hands up letting them know she won't continue. Eren then continued smiling and ran upstairs to his room hoping to tell Armin about his day.

The next day at School it was even harder to keep his eyes off of Annie, he didn't know why but it was more difficult than usual, more difficult than beating Shao Kahn in MK9. Jesus Christ something was definitely wrong with Eren today. He was being really, really creepy. If Annie saw him constantly staring at her she was probably gonna completely rethink the idea of hanging out with him. 'Ok Eren concentrate on the teacher, the teacher Eren not Annie.' his eyes slowly started to drift towards Annie, 'Fuck, I really hate myself right now." Eren was able to manage for most of his classes until came biology, the class where he sits next to Annie. Eren sighed, 'Fuck.' was all he thought to himself as he sat next Annie.

Sorry it took so long for me to post this chapter, i have been super busy and when I was writing I got super distracted and this chapter took way longer than it should have. Again I am very sorry and I hope you enjoy the chapter. P.S I'm Sorry about the Mortal Kombat reference I was playing MK9 not too long before I finished an i just can't help but get frustrated with Shao Kahn, I mean c'mon that guy is so damn cheap.
