You'll find pain has a new name

And when you're finished chipping
At that old block you now call pain
And bit by bit, you'll chip away
When what you focus on is love

Pain will shy away, you'll see
Find something good to think of
Just start small, and why not now
And your pain will start to shift

Look for love in every moment
A thought, a smile, even a gift

It could be here, it could be there
Pain surrounds you all day long
Look for the twinkle of loves presence
Inhale deep and strong

So open up your eyes a bit
Because love, it always mends
And pain is afraid of love, you see
For me and pain, we're good old friends

So here is a trick
I have learned a few

You learn no comfort can be found
Just when you think you've lost it
It follows you around
It lingers in the corner

But quickly learn it wants to stay
You'll try to quiver softly
As you move throughout your day
The pain will hold on gently
