4 | questioning

I sighed, placing the phone down on my bedside table.
Within the blink of an eye, it was morning, as I hurriedly got ready for school.
Waving goodbye to my parents, I rushed out the door.

Yeonjun was waiting for me at the bus stop.
"So? How was your weekend?" He mused.
I rolled my eyes.
"It was great, honestly. I didn't have to see your ugly ass."
He placed a hand on his chest. "You hurt me Y/N, you really do."

I elbowed him gently. "You know I'm kidding, geez. How about yours? Did the audition go well?"

He sighed. "No clue. They didn't tell me to improve anything this time, but they said they'll think about it. There was this idol sitting in the corner of the room the whole time. Name was Beomgyu or something- and his face was just in his phone. Like how rude, we might work together someday." Yeonjun said, before the bus came.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me on, and a few minutes later, we were at school.

"Hey wait the Choi Beomgyu? I like his stuff, so don't be mean." I frowned.
Yeonjun gave me the side eye. "Y/N, by the looks of it he has a girlfriend or something, so don't get your hopes up, hm?"

"Idols can't date." I noted.
"They can if the public doesn't find out~" He chuckled.

"Anyways, do you want me to ask Soobin to come sit with us? Hm?" He asked.
I looked to my feet. "No, no, it's fine."

Yeonjun grinned. "I'm going to ask him anyway. See you at lunch." He drawled, leaving me to go to his classes, whilst I went to mine.

Lunch came around, and I was a nervous wreck.
I don't know why. Wasn't I messaging Soobin?

"So.. Y/N, isn't it?" He asked with a smile.
I nodded, humming slightly in response.

"Well it's nice to finally meet you. Yeonjun's always talking ab-"
Yeonjun cut him off with an elbow to the ribs, scowling.

"Dude, shush."
Soobin chuckled. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry."

Was this really the same guy I was messaging?
There was no way...
He was so, different.

Maybe Yeonjun gave me the wrong @ ?

I would have to figure that out at home.
