"Do you know people have been looking all into our backgrounds, Jun?" I hummed, sitting beside him on my bed as we scrolled through the comments of our performance.
It had spread like wildfire, a co-ed duo under HYBE, and people had looked into the intricacies of our lives.
Speculations of if we were dating had already spread, due to old posts found from old burner accounts on the internet which showed the two of us together.
Which was rapidly shut down by new 'fans' as we were just friends.
Which is true. That's all we were.
Images from my date with Soobin months ago were speculated, given we were in the background of the paparazzi shoot for Beomgyu on that same day.
Yeonjun was more lucky; there was a lot less dirt to dig up on a trainee who had been one for years.
"Wow, they're quick," Yeonjun mused, nudging my shoulder before he pinched my phone.
"Stop being so worried. I'm sure they loved you."

"We may revoke her debut. The critics aren't very happy about the idea of a co-ed, Beomgyu. Especially given the idea was to debut alongside you." His CEO said, as Beomgyu sat across from him, tapping his pen impatiently on his and his managers notes on their performance.
'Sloppy vocals. Not confident enough.'
'Doesn't pair well with male partner.'
"I think it's a bit unfair to judge. It was dropped on them quite suddenly. What I think, is we should either organise a cover with the three of us, or get to recording that song I wrote." Beomgyu said carefully, "I'm sure it can be adjusted for three people, and with proper producing we can fit in a females vocals."
"Unfortunately, that decision isn't up to you." His CEO said again, rubbing his temples, "but people also won't be happy if we revoke her completely. She's not confident enough to perform alone. If we can fix that, and the vocals, then she should be set."
"Get her to cover a slower song, then. And alone. If that does well, then that should be proof enough." Beomgyu quickly suggested, biting the inner side of his cheek as he realised just how desperate he sounded.
Whether she debuted or not shouldn't matter so much. She said it herself, she wasn't interested in being an idol; it was just convenient for her.
But if she was an idol, he would have more excuses to be able to see her.
"Maybe. If you could get one of the stronger vocal trainees to give her some tips, that'd be helpful. Your schedule is too tight to fit in training her." The CEO said, before nodding his head. Indicating the end of the conversation.
Beomgyu bowed his head and excused himself, instantly going out to his car, and heading to Y/N's house.
Only to grip the steering wheel, knuckles white, as he saw Yeonjun leaving their house, embracing them in the doorway, and leaning up for a kiss.
