"This place seems threateningly huge today. Am I sweating? I feel like I'm sweating." I said, gripping onto Yeonjun.
He rubbed circles on my back. "You're just nervous, Y/N. And really don't be, remember I'm paying for everything today."
"Thank you- oh I need to visit my parents today, so I hope this doesn't take too long." I said, as he led me through various halls until we came to one room, where he pushed the door open.
A man was taking roll call as I wandered over.
"Y/N. Y/N L/N." I said, as the man nodded.
"Alright you're up third, which is in half an hour. Feel free to practice in another room along the hall." He said, as I nodded, walking off with Yeonjun.
He found us a free room.
"So you chose to do dancing, even though you're better at singing?" Yeonjun questioned, as I nodded.
"Vocalists are a very tough position to get, as each company looks for different things. Dance is easier for them to accept you on, and you can show your other skills later." I explained, before letting out a chuckle.
"I did my research last night- saying the Choi Beomgyu told me to audition, I don't want to mess up and embarrass myself.""What song are you doing?" Yeonjun asked, sitting on the couch as I connected my phone to the speaker.
"Magic. The one Beomgyu taught me, because I'm confident, and I think I can do it better than any other choreography at the moment." I explained, playing the track as I stood back, looking into the mirror.
I took a deep breath in, before starting to dance.
Yeonjun watched me, and as the song ended he helped fix my few mistakes, and before I knew it the half an hour had passed.
He gave me a hug, and a good luck kiss on my forehead before he left me to my audition, hovering outside the door.
"Y/N L/N. You're here to show us your dancing, right?" The man said, as I nodded.
"Yes, I am."
"What song will you be performing?"
"Magic by Beomgyu. The- the whole thing, unless you want me to cut it short?"
The man shook his head.
"We'll see."
The woman beside him went over to the speaker, nodding to him.
"When you're ready."I nodded, as the music filled my ears, as I began to dance.
I didn't miss a single move.
When I had finished, I stood up straight.
The man just sat there looking forward, writing something down.
"We'll be in touch. You're dismissed."
I bowed, leaving the room.
Yeonjun was talking to Beomgyu, as I carefully intercepted the conversation.
"Well, I hope you know that the judges are getting quite strict- oh Y/N, how did it go?" Beomgyu asked, turning to face me.
"Okay, I think. He said we'll be in touch. What does that mean?" I asked.
Yeonjun slinked a hand around my shoulders. This didn't go unnoticed by Beomgyu.
"It means they're considering you." Yeonjun chuckled.
"Well that's a start." I said, moving his arm off of me.
I felt my phone buzz as I looked down.
"Yeonjun, did you tell Soobin I was auditioning?" I asked, as I saw a new message from him.
"Him? Yeah I did. You're practically dating him, yeah?"I frowned. "Since I ghosted him? Not really."
Yeonjun shrugged. "Ah well, whatever."

"What did he say?" Yeonjun asked, leaning over my shoulder.
"He just asked me how it went. But I've got to get going, visiting hours don't last forever." I said, rushing off.Beomgyu's gaze fell to her, before he turned back to Yeonjun.
"Hospital?" He asked, playing dumb.
He knew the story, but no one else knew that.Yeonjun sighed. "Her family's there. So she's gone to visit. Poor girl needs a break."
"Well she isn't with that Soobin guy like you feared." Beomgyu noted.
"Soobin's my friend. If he's interested in her, I can't do anything." Yeonjun grumbled.
"Weren't you interested in her first?" Beomgyu questioned.
Yeonjun rolled his shoulders back, before he went to fiddle with his hands.
"Yeah. I suppose I was. But she's not interested, so there is no point in hoping."Beomgyu placed a hand on Yeonjun's shoulder.
"There's alway hope. But romance aside, tomorrow's judging is going to end up in people being kicked from the programme." Beomgyu frowned.
"Do you think I'm at risk?" Yeonjun asked, his heart dropping.
"From my view no, but I don't know what the management thinks. Just give it your all."Yeonjun nodded, as Beomgyu left him.
Yeonjun left the building, heading home to practice as much as he could tonight.
He couldn't risk the months wasted not adding to nothing. He wouldn't let it happen.
