When Shorty and I are finally alone I say "Shorty I can't do this anymore."
I look at her scared of what I might see. The only thing her face indicated was curiosity. "What do you mean?" She asks still unshaken,
"Do you love me?" I ask her this time not looking at her.
"Yeah, of course I do." Her voice sounded strong. I looked at her and she looked at me. She wasn't upset but patient, and calm. Not what you would expect.
"Then lets be together. I don't want you to leave my side. I love you and need you, but if you love Moose. Then go for it. I'd rather see you happy then miserable."
She falls into my arms and kisses me, her lips so soft and warm. "I would never choose Moose over you in that way. He's practically a brother to me.
"Come back inside?" I ask pleadingly.
"Anything for my boyfriend." She says and laughs the laugh that drives me wild.
