How it all started

Meet

Author note: This is my first story ever. Thank you for reading it. Also I wanted to write this because I am obsessed with heartstopper. So thank you again for reading this.

Y/n pov:

I wake up to my alarm going off.
I squint my eyes and check the time 6:00 am
It's the first day back to school since Christmas break. I really really do not want to go.
I groan and pull the covers off me and start to get ready. After about an hour of trying to make myself look presentable I go downstairs to eat breakfast. My parents are both working so it's just me at home. I pull out the toaster and throw a bagel in, while it's being toasted I get my backpack together. POP. I walk over to get my bagel and put so cream cheese on it.  I check the time 8:00 am. The bus is almost here so I walk outside and lock up. I see Charlie standing at the bus stop.
"Hey, how was your break" I ask "it was really good, I saw most of my family. It was really fun" he responded " how was yours?" Charlie asked. "Mine was fine, my family and I just hung out around the house that's all" I said
The bus pulls up.
As Charlie sat down I notice he was a little more smiley than usual.
"You look happier than normal" I said " yeah...." He whispered. "Is it that Ben dude" I whispered back. "Yes" he giggled "oh god" I say laughing.
The bus stops, meaning it's time to get off. We start to walk of the bus.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do" I tease as I nudge him. He is not amused. He laughs but still rolls his eyes. "Byeeeee" I say laughing.
I walk into school and spot Elle. "Elle!" I shout running up to her.
"Y/n, how are you?" she asks "I'm doing well, how are you?" I responded. "I'm great" she says. "Oh, um what do you have first period?" I ask. "I have biology, what do you have" she questioned "I have maths" "that sucks" Elle teased. "Whatever, I'll see you at lunch" I said
"Okay" Elle said walking away.

I walked into my class. I saw Mrs.smith siting in front of the class, I walked up to her to get my seat. "Y/n Y/l, you'll sit right next to Imogen Heaney" she says.
"Alrighty" I respond.
Imogen and I have talked in the past before but we weren't ever close but I guess that's fine.
"Hey Imogen" I say in a somewhat excited voice"
"Oh my god, Y/n I'm so happy you are here I thought I would know no one in this class" she says relieved. I laughed
Imogen and I spent the whole class talking and catching up. She's actually way cooler than I thought.

Time skip

Y/n pov:

I walk outside school and I see Imogen with a group of guys outside Truham. So I walk up to her.
"Hey Imogen" I say
"Oh hey Y/n" she says a little surprised.
"So, uh what did we do in maths today, I wasn't really paying any attention." I laughed
"To be honest I wasn't really payin—"
"Who's this" a unfamiliar voice says.
"Piss off harry" Imogen says agitated
"Anyway I guess we'll find out tomorrow in class" I say awkwardly.
"Yeah I guess we will, see you around" Imogen said.
As I walk back home, I keep think about that name Harry. I swear I heard it before, it sounds so familiar.
I guess I'll ask Charlie later.

I walk through the door and see my mum cooking.
"Hey honey, how was your day"
"It was good" I replied "also I was wondering if I could go over to Charlie's for a little he said I could come over"
"Sure, just text me when you get home" said my mum
I dropped my bag on the table and I was out of there.
"Thanks, love you bye" I said
"Bye"  my mum said

I walked over to Charlie's, he didn't live to far away only like a couple blocks. I walked up to the door and knocked. Tori answered
"Hi" she said in a monotone voice
"Hey tori" I said
"Charlie's upstairs" she said
"Thanks"
I walk into Charlie's room and he's lying on his bed smiling on his phone.
"Why are you so happy" I asked
"I met a boy" he said smiling
"Bruh" I say laughing
"Stop Y/n, I'm serious his names nick" he said getting frustrated
"Nick what" I asked
"Nelson" he said in a low voice
"Charlie" I say holding in a laugh
"Whattt" he responds
"Nick Nelson as in the popular rugby player?" I ask
"Yes" he sighs
I start laughing my ass off, I couldn't hold it in any longer.
Charlie hits me with his pillow.
"stop, I'm being serious" he said laughing
"I know. That's what makes it funny" I wheeze "isn't he straight though" I ask calming down
"Yeah" he trails off
"Wait wait, what happens to the Ben guy?"
"He's still in the picture" Charlie responds
"BRUH" I say laughing
"Anyway can we stop talking about me, please. Let's talk about your issues, what did you wanna talk about?" He suggest
"Okay fine, you know a guy named Harry" I ask
"Harry Greene" he suggest
"I guess, I don't know his last name" I say
"Is he tall, blond, looks like a prick" he says
"Yeah" I reply
"Than yes, that's Harry Greene" he confirms
"Why are you asking about him"
"Well I was taking to imogen today and he butted into our conversation"
" you're friends with imogen"  he said surprised
"I mean kind of, I sit next to her in maths and we really hit it off."
"Oh wow" he said a little taken back
"I know, she actually really cool"
I checked the time and it was 8:30
"Oh shit, I should probably get home. I'll see you tomorrow morning" I said
"Okay, love you" Charlie said
"Love you too" I responded

I walked back home and texted my mum. Brushed my teeth, got into my pajamas and went to sleep.
