How it all started

Back from holiday

It's our first day back from holiday all I've been doing is hanging out with Harry and all my friends. Over the the school year imogen and I have gotten super close. Not as close as Elle and I but pretty close. I wake up at my usual time 6:00 am. I get up super easily I'm excited to seeing all my favorite people.
I get ready and head down stairs, i grad a pop tart and we Charlie at my usual spot.
"Good morning" I say
"Good morning y/n" Charlie says he looks at me with a smile spread across his face
"Aren't you gonna ask" he asked
"Oh, about your boyfriend? Nope" I tease
"Oh c'mon please ask" he laughs
"Fine, how is your boyfriend" i ask as we all on to the bus
"He is amazing, he's the best" he practically says jumping up and down
I laugh, I'm so happy he is happy. He has gone through so much shit in his life he deserves this.
Charlie continues to talk about Nick but we have a code name so know picks up on it. It's pizza. Don't ask it was Charlie's idea
We get off the bus and my eyes immediately land on my boyfriend. I walk up to him and he wraps his arms around me and kisses me on the lips for just a second. He knows how I don't like to draw attention to us. Except for the fact that all his friends went oooooo
He turned to them and gave that famous look of this.
I look up at him and laugh
"Sorry love" he says
That still makes my stomach flip
"Ya know I'm starting to get used to it" I say I should probably go I wanna see Elle before class starts" I add
"Oh okay" he looks up and his gaze hardens I try to turn my head to look at what's bothering him and he grabs my chin and kisses me again for longer
"What was that about" I ask
" don't worry about it" he looks down at me reassuringly
I start to walk away from Harry and look back and he's talk to this guy I've never seen before. Harry looks pissed, but he said it was fine so I'm not going bother him about it.
I walked in through the doors and saw elle she ran up to me hugged me like she was never gonna see me again.
"Elle I seriously can't breathe" I laugh
She lets go and rolls her eyes
"Whatever, I was just showing love" she laughs pushing my arm
"You show love by trying to kill me" I shout walking away, I hear her laugh in the distance. I smile walking into my first class I get sat next to the one and only imogen.
"Hey" she's say giving me a side hug
"Hey" I responded " what have you been up to all summer" I ask
"Ummm, not much I went on holiday and... oh! I started liking someone else" she practically jumps up and down
"Oh okay, who?" I say
"Ben"
"Seriously" I ask my face drops
"What do you not like him or something"
I don't want to like tell her about Nick and Charlie or anything. But he is a dick
"Um I mean kinda he's just seems like a prick" I say
"And you're the one to talk you are literally dating Harry Greene" she scoffs
" okay, you got me there" I laugh " but he's not a dick to me, and he starting to adjust to my friends" I added
"Ben's not a dick he sweet to me I promising wouldn't like him if he wasn't" she says
"Just promise me, if he does anything you tell me immediately" I say in a serious tone
"Okay I promise" she looks at me "why do you have a problem with him? He's your boyfriend best friend" she asks "did like something happened between you two" she adds
I laugh
"Hell no, ew omg" I almost fall out of my chair
"It was just a question" she laughs

Classes are over and I walk across the street and see imogen taking to Ben. I think I almost throw up in my mouth. I think my biggest problem with him is what he did to Charlie. I really care about imogen and I don't want so dick head to do something to her.
Harry comes walking up to me, I almost walk right past him because I'm so deep in thought. He grabs my hand
"Hey, you okay" he asks concerned
"No yeah I'm fine I just zoned out" I say looking up at him.
"Do you wanna come over" he says looking down at me. He has a little dorky smile on his face.
I giggle
"Nah I think I have plans" I say sarcastically
"So I take that as a yes" he says putting his hands on my waist
I start to blush, I look over my shoulder and I see Charlie Isaac and Tao smiling. Tao turns around and starts to rub this hands on his back making it look like he's making out with someone.
I roll my eyes and grab Harry's hand. We start to walk away when he pulls his hand away from mine and starts to walk back
I follow him but he looks back at me and tells me to stay. I roll my eyes and ignore him I continue to follow him. He goes up to his guy I've never even seen before. I honestly can't even hear him
I over hear him say "I swear to god say another word about her again, I will ruin you" he says getting in the guys face.
He turns around and sees me
Shit.
I turn around acting like I was looking at my phone
"Did I tell you to stay over there" he says frustrated
"Harry you can't tell me what to do" I say "why aren't you telling me what going on I wanna know" I say getting upset.
"I will tell you when we get home" i he said
We continue walking in silence, I'm getting mad because I don't understand why he has to keep things from me.
We walk in to his house, his parents aren't home
"Do you wanna a drink" he offers
"Nope"
"Y/n why are you mad at me"
"I'm mad because you aren't telling me things, and this isn't the first time we had this problem" I say I try not to cry that is stupid.
After we got back from vacation his parents were fighting about their jobs and the money they spent on vacation, Harry was just shutting me out, we almost broke up. Eventually he started talking to me because everything was too much. His dad has built into his head the toxic masculinity of men don't feel, you can't cry because it makes you weak. I think that's bullshit but whatever.

Flash back

I had turned my lights off and tried drifting off to sleep. I heard a tapping sound about 10 seconds apart from each other. I sat up and looked around, I laid back down and heard it again. I got up and looked out my window and Harry was down there.
"What are you right here, it's 12:30" I whispered shouted
" I need to talk to you, in person" he whispered "I want to explain myself" he add
I tiptoed down stairs and unlocked the back door, he came in and we both went upstairs to my room. I closed and locked the door. He sat onto my bed and looked at me, his eyes were red I couldn't tell if he was crying or high.
"What's been going on" I ask walking over to him
"My parents have been arguing and I think the are on the brink of divorce" he says his voice is breaking.
I pull him into my arms and hug him so tight.
"I'm so sorry Harry"
"I'm sorry I didn't come to you sooner, I just don't know wha-"
I cut him off "shhh"
He cry's into my arm
"I want you to know" he says "I'm not crying because of my parents" he says
"Why then"
"Because my dumbass almost lost you"

Present

"Y/n you know that is nothing like that" he says annoyed
I jump up and sit on the counter and look at him
"It doesn't matter what it's like Harry, I don't like it when you keep things from me. Especially when it's about me" I say between a talk and a yell
"What are talking about" he asks frustrated
"Harry don't even act stupid I heard you say if you talk about her one more time I swear I will ruin you, or something like that" I yell "and then this morning you looked up and and than you saw someone and than kissed me. I'm not stupid Harry I know something is going on" I add
"Shit, I didn't think you heard that" he says calming down a little
"So I'm gonna ask you one more time can you just please tell me what is going on" I ask defeated
He walks closer to me and stands between my legs.
"There is a guy Jack, who has been talking about you. In front of everyone, me, my friends. He won't shut up either, he talks about your ass or how you look in your skirt and he just keeps talking about how he would hit. And so I'm trying to make it clear that you are mine. I guess I didn't want you to know because he makes disgusting comments" he says
"Thank you for telling me, and protecting me" I say he leans his forehead against mine
"And plus I am yours" I say going in for a kiss. He moves his hands onto my thighs and starts to move his hands higher. I laugh while kissing him and move his hands onto my back. We start to make out, and his hands start to slide down to my ass and I wrap my legs around and he's just about to pick me up and bring me to his room until is front door opens. We immediately break away from our kiss and straighten ourselves up.
"Hey mum" Harry says
"Hello, Mrs. Greene" I say
"Hi guys, whatcha doing"
"We were just about to go upstairs, we were debating about eating" harry says quickly
"Oh okay, y/n are you staying for dinner?" Mrs.Greene asks
"Um I'm not sure" I say
"Well, you are welcome to stay" she say with a soft smile

Harry and I go upstairs, we laugh at what almost happened. I pull out my maths book and we do our homework together for about 2 hours.
