She nods and heads to the elevator. When the doors open, she steps into the elevator with Nat who's already inside.

"Good Morning, Natasha. Your outfit looks incredible today," Lyria complimented. Nat really did look good. With a tight red V-neck dress and her black heels, she looked as if she was ready to break some hearts.

"That's very sweet of you to say, Lyria. How are you this morning? How was the date?"

Lyria covers her face with her hands and groans, earning a laugh from Nat. "How does everyone know about this date? Did Tony send out a work memo or something?"

"Practically. We never have anything interesting going on around here so we all have to live vicariously through someone with a life, which just so happens to be you."

"Tony has a life. He has Pepper."

"Yeah but Tony and Pepper are established and currently doing well together. In other words, boring. You, on the other hand, are young and new. And you still haven't answered my question."

The doors of the elevator slid open with a ding and Lyria thanked her lucky stars.

"The date went well," she said before stepping out of the elevator. Natasha followed behind her, apparently traveling to the same destination.

"Well how? Where did you guys go? Who is he?"

"Twenty questions with you people," Lyria laughed. "He took me to the beach. We ended up staying pretty late and fell asleep in the sand, so we spent another day there. He kissed me and before you ask, yes he is a great kisser."

"But like how great?"

"You really don't get a lot of action, do you?"

"Job keeps me pretty busy... So like, on a scale from one to ten."

"Nine and a half."

"Tongue?" She asks, a devious smirk appearing on her face. She knew she was embarrassing her but, she couldn't help but become absorbed in something other than her life and death world-ending career.

"Ew! No. It was a first date, Nat. I don't French kiss on a first date."

"What about the second?"

The two turn the corner into the lab. Sam is sitting at one of the tables, studying schematics for Red Wing and attempting to figure out where to start repairing the damage.

"Good Morning, Sam!" Lyria greeted, excited for a reprieve from the conversation.

"Morning Lyria! How was the date?"

Natasha breaks out laughing as Lyria's face gets bright red. Despite the embarrassment Lyria was feeling, it was hard to deny that it didn't sound damn good to hear Nat laughing. Lyria had heard a bit of background on her and knew the girl deserved nothing but at least a few moments of genuine happiness.

"The date was fine, Sam. He was a perfect gentleman."

"Good because if he didn't I'd have to kick his ass and I'm pretty sure he could mess me up in an honest-to-God fight."

Lyria looks at him confused, tilting her head a little to the side. "I don't know. I think you could probably take him. I mean most of the Avengers already have."

"Yeah well they all have superpowers and shit. I got wings and a broken sidekick. Not saying I couldn't ultimately beat him but he'd definitely leave some damage. One good swing with his left arm and I'd have two broken ribs."

"His left a-. Oh. Oh! No. I did not go on a date with Bucky this weekend! That wasn't a date; that was dinner and a beer. We were hanging out. We're friends, nothing more."
