The next day, when I woke up, Sabrina and Felix were already up. So I told them to not let anybody out of the house until I'm back.

I went straight to Sabrina's house and knocked on their door. Mrs. Perez opened up the door and let out a huge sigh of relief. "I heard that demons had attacked the village. Are Sabrina and Ian okay?" she asked. "Yeah. They're both at my house right now," I said. "Is your husband okay, by the way?" I asked. "Oh yeah. As soon as he got home from work, he fell asleep," she said with a laugh. "Okay. Glad you and your husband are okay," I said. "I'm going to go check on the rest of the village," I said, leaving.

I checked on the rest of the village, and no one had major injuries. Some had some minor injuries from getting away from the demons, but that was it. Seemed like only Carry had the worst injury. And not to mention that she would've turned into a demon if it weren't for the Goddess of Medicine. I went back to my house and Sabrina asked, "Is everyone in the village okay?" "Yeah. Some have minor injuries from getting away from the demons, but that's about it," I said. "Okay, that's good," she said, putting some bacon into a pan. "Anyway, I'm making pancakes, bacon, and eggs if you want any," she said. "Sure, why not?" I said.

I went into the kitchen and helped her make breakfast. Once breakfast was ready, everyone had already woken up to the scream of Carry. I ran upstairs and into my bedroom. I saw Carry freaking out because she didn't know where she was.

"G-God of Creation and Destruction?" she stuttered. "Yeah, but don't bow to me. You're injured," I said, grabbing some bandages. I removed her current ones and cleaned her wounds again. I then wrapped them back up.

"Wh-What happened?" she asked, scared. "You were attacked by one of Tara's demons," I said. "Oh yeah... I managed to escape into your backyard..." she said. "Where do you live?" I asked her. "In this village. I live near the entrance," she said. "Alright, thank you. I'll have Sabrina look after you," I said, leaving.

I went downstairs and told Sabrina to look after Carry. I then left my house and to the houses near the entrance of the village. I then knocked on one of the doors. No answer. Instead, the door creaked open. I walked inside and I was immediately greeted with the smell of blood. But it wasn't fresh. But I could tell it happened last night.

I grabbed a lantern off the front porch and lit it. I used it to look around and I saw three dead bodies. One of a mother, one of a father, and one of a brother. I gasped and put my hand over my mouth. I then heard rustling. I snuck around to the sound and a demon came out. I used my sword and sliced it in two, making it disappear.

I then left the house and knocked on the door of the other one. Someone answered the door.

"William! I had no idea you were coming!" she exclaimed. "I'm just making sure you're alright because a family of four got murdered, with only one survivor," I said. "Oh my gosh! Any idea who did it?" she asked. "Yeah. I know who did it," I said. Then Aiden came running, screaming my name.

"WILLIAM!!" I heard him scream. "What is it?!" I ran to him. "It's Carry. Something's wrong. She keeps saying her wounds hurt and her skin is turning an unnatural color," he said. "Crap. Let's go," I said.

We ran to my house as fast as we could go, and I ran to my room. I saw Carry looking like a demon. I grabbed the antidote that I was given and poured it down her throat. She swallowed it and it all stopped. But she wasn't human again.

"What... Happened?" she asked. "You were becoming one of Tara's minions," I said, putting the bottle down. "We need to figure out a way to stop this from happening even further," I said. I took her hand and studied it. I saw that she was still somewhat human. She just had unnatural skin, horns, a tail, unnatural eyes, and claws. Everything else was human. "You're still somewhat human," I said. "Sabrina, Aiden, play your song and see what happens to her." Sabrina spawned her flute and started playing it and soon, Aiden started singing. Nothing happened to her.
