Cotton focused on the townspeople who would cause the most damage. He decided that he would defeat them first, then the ones who would do the least amount of damage. Then Felix showed up in different clothing.

"Felix! What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be at the wagon!" Cotton exclaimed. "I came here to help you fight. I can create platforms for you to jump on," Felix said. "Fine, fine. Just... try not to get hurt or killed," Cotton said.

"You manipulated that poor boy, didn't you?!" yelled one of the townspeople. "I can't do that," Cotton said calmly. "Liar!" yelled another one. "Get ready for them to attack," whispered one of the townspeople. Cotton heard them whisper that and said, "I was waiting for you guys to attack." Cotton and Felix then let their guards down. "Wait, you could hear us?!" exclaimed one of them. "Yeah, I am Cotton Rosewood, guardian of the Rosewood forest, after all," Cotton said calmly.

Everyone started whispering about it. They didn't believe him. But then their leader, Grace Lee came out. "What is going on?!" she yelled. She then laid her eyes on Cotton and Felix. She ran up to them and said, "Hello, Cotton Rosewood. Who is your companion?" "Hello, Grace. This is Felix. I'm trying to help him get to Mt. Olympia to reunite with his parents," Cotton said. "Ah... Another one?" she asked. "Yeah. Another one. William sent us on the journey to Mt. Olympia. We have Carry Lewis, the guardian of the Lewis Mountain Range," he said. "She was also attacked by Tara, the Goddess of Demons, and some of her body transformed into a demon," Felix said.

"I see... Alright, what do you need?" Grace asked. "Well, we need food, water, blankets, a map, a compass, and a watch," Cotton said. "Alright, we'll do that!" she said. "HEY EVERYONE! GET THESE PEOPLE FOOD, WATER, BLANKETS, A MAP, A COMPASS, AND A WATCH!!" Grace's voice boomed throughout the entire village.

"So... where are we?" Felix asked Cotton. "We're in Death Town," Cotton said calmly. "DEATH TOWN?!" Felix yelped. "Oh relax, it's only called Death Town to keep outsiders out because when they let some outsiders in before William, the town crumbled," Cotton said, looking around. "And I can see that the town has improved since the last time I've been here."

Grace then went up to them and asked, "You said that you had someone with you with amnesia, right?" Cotton looked at Grace and said, "Yeah. Carry has amnesia." "Take me to her, then," Grace said. "Alright..." Cotton said. Cotton and Felix led Grace to Carry. Cotton asked Carry to come out of the wagon, and Carry did.

"Here's Carry, Grace," Cotton said. Grace thought about it for a bit. She then examined Grace's head and felt her head. Felix was weirded out. "What is she doing?" he asked. "She's examining her head," Cotton said. "Why?" Felix asked. "To see figure out what caused the amnesia," Cotton said.

Then Grace got it. "Aha! I've got it!" she said. "What? What is it?" asked Cotton. "She was hit on the head by something hard. I would say... maybe a rock? Based on the size of the bump on her head, it would probably be a rock," Grace said. "But from what?" Cotton asked. "By the looks of it... The rock was thrown," Grace said, looking at the bump on Carry's head. "Thrown?" he asked. "Yes. Thrown," she said. "What do you think threw the rock at Carry?" Cotton asked. "I would guess one of Tara's demons, or Tara herself," Felix said. "You might be right," Grace said.

Then one of the townsfolk went up to them. "Grace, we have gathered all of the resources for the travelers," she said. "Thank you," Grace said. "Well, I guess that since we have gotten everything we need, we can start heading on our way, then," Cotton said. "Yep, I guess so. It was so good to see you again, by the way," Grace said, holding her hand out. Cotton put his hand in hers and then Grace pulled him in for a hug.

When Cotton and Grace finished hugging, Cotton received the map, and the townsfolk loaded the wagon with supplies. Cotton looked at the map and said, "Looks like we're on course."

"By the way, do you guys know someone named William Adam Smith?" Grace asked. "Yes... We do. Why?" Cotton asked. "He came here to this town once," she said. "Ah, I see!" Cotton said, getting into the driver's seat of the wagon.

Then there was a crashing sound and the sounds of screaming. They all immediately turned to look at the town and saw Tara's demons attacking. Grace immediately ran to the town. Cotton used his magic to put on his fighting-style clothes, and he summoned his bow. He jumped out of the driver's seat and ran to the village. Felix then got out of the wagon before being stopped by Carry.

"Felix, don't go out there. It's a bad idea," Carry said. "Carry, I have to go. You stay here," Felix said. And with that, Felix ran off to help fight, leaving Carry alone.

Felix created platforms for Cotton to jump on. He could see arrows shooting at the demons. Cotton summoned them out of nowhere and shot them at the demons. Then a large number of demons came up to Felix and he couldn't use his dirt powers in time. The demons piled onto him and Cotton couldn't do anything, in fear that he would hurt Felix.

Then, something came out of nowhere and attacked the demons. It sliced the demons clean in half, leaving Felix soaked in the blood of the demons. When Felix looked up, he could see Carry holding out her hand to help him up.

"Carry?" he said. "Yep!" Carry said. "Carry, you got your memory back?!" Cotton yelled. "I sure did! Once I saw Felix run into the fight, my memories started coming back to me!" Carry yelled. "Alright, let's fight!" Cotton yelled, shooting more arrows at the demons.

So Felix made platforms for Cotton and Carry to jump on to gain the high ground. But when Felix made the 14th platform, demons piled onto him, and Carry and Cotton almost jumped off of their platforms to get onto another one. But Cotton and Carry were preoccupied with some demons themselves. So they couldn't help him.

Felix was struggling to keep the demons away with the dirt, but nothing was working. He tried using air, but it was only a light breeze in their faces. Felix was pushing his claws away from him, and kept trying to use the air to get away.

"Is that all you got?!" yelled one of the demons, about to slash him with its claws. Felix kept trying to use the air, but it was a light breeze. "Go on, do it again," said one of the demons. Then, Felix did it again. And when he did, there was an explosion of demons. Cotton and Carry looked at Felix and saw him free from the demons. Felix used the air as a weapon and dirt as a defense. Felix used the dirt and pushed the demons so far up. Then he quickly made the dirt drop. All of the demons fell to the ground and splat. Then Felix would make the air quick and sharp and pierce the demons. And soon enough, the demons all died.

But Felix looked at the demons and saw the demons disintegrating into dust. But there was something under the dust. So Felix used the wind to blow away the dust, and he saw humans. He lowed Cotton and Carry's platforms and they all studied the humans.

"So all of Tara's demons are human..." she said. "Apparently..." Felix said. "Well, either way, we'll need the people here to take care of them," Carry said. Grace went up to them and saw what they were seeing. "So... Destroy the demon, save the human," Grace said. "What?" Felix said. "It was a riddle. From a while back," Grace said. "A mysterious woman showed up here and said that while Carry and I were visiting. It was the strangest thing," Cotton said, getting up. "But now we know what it means," said Carry as she stood up.

"We're going to need you and your people to take care of these people," Cotton asked Grace. "Alright. We'll nurse them back to health and once they wake, we'll try and figure out where they came from," Grace said, looking around.

"We'll get going now," Cotton said as he used his magic to change back. "Alright, I wish you three the best of luck," Grace said. "Thank you," Cotton said, as he got in the driver's seat.

"Also, I'm so sorry about what happened earlier," Grace said. "Oh it's fine, honestly. They looked newer, anyways," Cotton said.

And just like that, they were off.
