I went into the Rosewood Forest, not knowing what I was walking into. I walked in and was immediately greeted by lots of dangers. Such as snakes, poison ivy, and quicksand. For a name that sounds lovely, this forest was far from it... I walked around, making sure to not step on anything dangerous. I was getting further into the forest, near the center I would assume, when all of a sudden, I was hit by an arrow in the arm.
I turned to face the person who had hit me, and no one was there. Then I heard a voice. "Leave now, and never return!" I heard the voice. I didn't know where the voice was coming from. "Listen, I'm only here to find Cotton Rosewood!" I said. "How do you know my name?!" he yelled. "I'm the God of Creation and Destruction," I said. "I'm not an idiot! It always has to be a goddess for the Goddess of Creation and Destruction!" Cotton Rosewood yelled. "Not in this case... I got the Goddess of Creation and Destruction powers because I have the most powerful soul," I said. "Wait... Are you William Adam Smith? The one I was told about?" he asked. "Yeah. The Goddess of Creation and Destruction put her soul into my body, and my soul fought her soul and won. Now I'm the God of Creation and Destruction," I said, putting my hands up.
I waited for an answer, but there wasn't one. I listened carefully. Then I heard an arrow coming right for my head. I barely dodged the arrow as it whizzed past my head. More arrows kept flying at me and I kept dodging every single one. It wasn't long until an arrow went straight for my heart, but I couldn't dodge it. So I let it hit my hand. It went straight through, and I ripped my sleeve off, and wrapped my hand. Cotton Rosewood then saw the wound from the previous arrow that had hit me and saw that I was bleeding gold. He immediately stopped and came to greet me. "You weren't lying..." he said. "Nope," I said, with a mouthful of cloth. "C'mon, let's go," he said. I followed him to the center of the forest. "This is the center of the forest, it's the safe place," he said. I looked around amazed. "It's not creepy!" I said. "Well, the creepy part is for me to keep the center protected from people," Cotton said.
He took me to a hut and we went inside. He took out some bandages and yanked out the arrow in my arm.
"Ouch..." I said. "Sorry, but we gotta get these wounds wrapped properly," he said. Once that wound was wrapped up, he unwrapped my hand. "Hm..." he said. He then found a saw and brought it over to me. "You're not going to cut my hand off... Right?" I said. "Right! I'm going to use the saw to cut the arrow to get it out of your hand," he said. He then cut the stick near the arrowhead and then pulled it out of my hand. I winced in pain. "Sorry, but we have to get this wound fixed. He wrapped it up, then found some crystals. "These will help you heal faster," he said. He then put the crystals near my wounds and chanted something. Then he removed the bandages and my wounds were healed. But now my hand has a hole in it.
"Sorry about that..." Cotton said. The hole was as round as my finger. "You're lucky only a part of your bones were taken away," he said. "Yeah but-" I said, before being cut off. "Shut it. I apologized, now accept the apology," he said. "O-Oh... Alright..." I said, accepting his apology. "Now, what are you doing here?" Cotton asked as he made tea. "I'm here to find you," I said. "And why's that?" he asked. "Uh... It's about Carry," I said. He stopped making tea. "Why...? What's wrong? What's happened to her?" he said worriedly. "She has amnesia. The only thing she can remember is her name," I said. "So I thought maybe you could jumpstart her memory?" Cotton sighed. "I can't leave my forest. It's the busiest part of the year right now. People keep getting in to chop trees down," Cotton said.
I thought for a bit, then said, "How about I get some people here to defend your forest? I know three people. Er... well... more like gods," I said. He perked up when he heard me say gods. "Really?! You'd do that?" he said. "Yep!" I said. I sent a message to Ian, Basil, and Weksasa and they soon all arrived. "Why'd you summon us?" Basil asked. "Well, I need you three to defend the Rosewood Forest," I said. "Alright!" Ian said. "And why's that?" Wekasa asked. "Well, I need to take Cotton with me to jumpstart Carry Lewis' memory," I said. "Alright. We'll do it," Wekasa said.
