"Hmm... I wonder if I should do it." Taeyeon murmured to herself as she stared at the letter she held in front of her. A noise at the door caused her to snap out of her thoughts as she quickly hid the decorated letter in her bag.
"Aish, it's just Youngie. You gave me a fright!" Taeyeon said, annoyed.
"What... It's broad daylight." Wooyoung said, sticking his tongue out before he sneezed again. 'AHCHOOOO!'
"Yah, don't spread it to me! I don't want to spend my 20 birthday with flu!" Taeyeon exclaimed, throwing tissues to Wooyoung.
"Sorry," Wooyoung gladly accepted the tissues and stuffed the unused ones in his pocket. "Take it, it's for you."
Taeyeon looked at Wooyoung curiously to find him holding out something green in his hand. She took the four-leaved clover from him with a bright smile on her face and admired it. "It's so pretty! I heard these are reaaaaallly hard to find! How long did you take?"
"I spent the whole morning looking for it. It's to wish you good luck for the competition. Apparently I was really lucky to even find it so you better treasure it!" Wooyoung threatened playfully.
"Thanks!" Taeyeon said, with a smile.
'Sigh, now Taeng is facing the greatest challenge of her life and yet I can't do anything to help her.' Wooyoung sighed as he looked at Taeyeon, who was admiring the four leaved clover he had painstakingly found for her.
"Wait a minute... Don't tell me you're making this as my birthday present!" Taeyeon said with a pout.
"Erm, nope it's not only this! But it's not a bad birthday present either right!"
"Says the person who can't even afford to pay his own handphone bills. But that's true, it takes a lot of effort to find this. Thank you!" Taeyeon said with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Aish, now's not the time to care about you, Youngie! What if I can't finish this on time?!" Taeyeon said, as she covered her face with her hands, obviously stressed. "You don't have to give me another present, just stop time or turn back time for me!" Wooyoung was taken aback and said, "Yah, are you crazy? How can there be such miracles? Anyway, I'll go now! All the way!" 'Why am I always so broke?' Wooyoung thought as he stood outside the room Taeyeon was in and searched his empty wallet.
'No way, I've got to make some money to buy Taeng something.' -------------------------------------------------------------
Yoona sat alone in a beautiful park near Poseidon University. The sun was shining down on everyone and the light, cool breeze evened out the sun's heat. The sound of birds chirping merrily and the fragrance of flowers filled the air, making the park the perfect place for a picnic date with people you love.
However, Yoona was absorbed in her own deep thoughts. As they gushed through her mind, her hands fidgeted absentmindedly with her phone, pressing random buttons to keep the light on to check if there were any new messages in her inbox.
There were none.
Yoona sighed and leaned back against the bench rest, placing her phone on her lap. She was thinking about the same question she had pondered for days and nights -whether she should do it or not.
Yoona wished Taeyeon was here with her at this point of time; Taeyeon, her confidant and most trusted best friend. Yoona could trust Taeyeon with anything and everything, and Taeyeon's advice was always appropriate.
But how could she disturb and trouble Taeyeon when Taeyeon had her own things to take care of at the moment? The scholarship is something of utmost importance that could help her best friend succeed in life and live her dream. And Yoona knew Taeyeon too well. If Taeyeon knew about this, she would give up working on her submission piece just to help her. How could Yoona be so selfish and deprive Taeyeon of something she rightfully deserves?
No, she can't. And she will not.
After a long while, Yoona finally came to a decision. She picked up the phone on her lap and quickly dialled a number.
"Hello? Oppa? Are you free now?"
A pause followed when the other person on the line answered.
"Do you mind following me somewhere?"
