"Her scent is all over you! Don't you dare lie to me?!" A furious scream woke Lucinde awake from her sleep. It seemed to be coming from outside of her room. She heard footsteps stomping around in anger. The voices she heard were unfamiliar to her. They seemed to be foreigners based from their accent.

She slowly opened her eyes to see herself in an unfamiliar bedroom. This wasn't her room. The colors and atmosphere that the room possessed were the complete opposite of hers. She jolted herself into a sitting position upon realizing that this was not normal. Imagine waking up to a room that isn't yours. Her eyes widened as thoughts of her being kidnapped and held captive rushed inside her head.

She closed her eyes and opened them repeatedly, making sure that she wasn't hallucinating. Unfortunately for her, the red and black motifs of the room remained. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as her eyes wandered around her surroundings. Where was she?

Then, all of a sudden, she felt quite naked.  It was like she wasn't wearing anything. She realized that she couldn't feel clothes on her body. She slowly look down at her chest to find herself naked as a newborn baby. She let out a gasp as she gripped the blanket around her chest tightly.

"D-Did someone...No. T-This can't be happening," she started tearing up as she stammered. She immediately thought that she was taken advantage of in her sleep. She felt like crying upon thinking of having her first time taken by a stranger.

She remained still in her place, ignoring the loud argument erupting from outside the room. She couldn't wrap her head around the thought of being kidnapped and taken advantage of. How did this happen? Why would someone do this to her?

Uncomfortable with her naked self, she decided to look for some clothes to put on. She felt frightened of being seen like this. Her eyes spotted a pile of clothes on the floor. It looked like a silk nightgown. "Well, this is better than nothing," she muttered to herself as she picked up it up from the floor beside the bed.

"Uh. I haven't worn anything like this. I feel like my parents are going to freakout if they see me wearing this," she thought as she began putting it on her body. It was rather too short for her liking. It was just a few inches below her bottom. Despite not being fond of the clothing, it was better than wearing nothing.

Before she could even think of what to do with her situation, the door to the room slammed opened, revealing a furious girl glaring daggers at her. Her blue eyes were filled with hatred as she looked at her up and down.

"You! It's your fault!" she started as she began screaming at Lucinde. "Lucinde, why can't you just stay away from my mate?"

Annalise confronted her as she walked into the room. Lucinde blinked her eyes in bewilderment. "Who is this? Who are you?" she thought as she looked at Annalise dumbfounded. The person in front of her seemed to be from another country, more specifically from a Western one. Although she has seen and encountered people like her, she had never seen a redhead in real life.

"Uh. Miss, what are you talking about? What mate? Am I in Australia or something?" Lucinde replied, while letting out an awkward laugh. She shifted her gaze at her feet, not used to talking to other people besides her family and close friends. She never liked eye contact nor conversations that made her feel stressed. Plus, she was quite shy when encountering other people from foreign countries.

"MY MATE. Alpha Kent," Annalise said in anger as she emphasized 'my mate'. She glared daggers at Lucinde who stood in her place in front of the original Lucinde's bed. Annalise didn't understand why Lucinde suddenly had a strange aura around her. She was also acting differently from her normal self. With this in mind, she speculated that Lucinde was only acting or pretending to be innocent.

"Alpha Kent? Alpha? Like Alpha and omega? I'm sorry but it's so awkward for me to hear other people being expressive when it comes to their kinks. Uh. Miss, I really don't have any idea what you're talking about," Lucinde said as she tried to walk pass her to leave the room. But before she could even take a step out, Annalise pushed her onto the floor and started grabbing her hair. Out of shock, Lucinde unintentionally slapped her on her cheek. She never experienced slapping someone nor being involved in a physical fight.

"Y-You fucking bitch!" Annalise grew infuriated with the slap. She began digging her sharp and well-manicured nails into Lucindes arms. Lucinde winced in pain and immediately started to fight back. She began yelling for help as Annalise was too strong to fight off. "Help! I'm being attacked! Someone! Please help me!"

"You deserve this! You dare sleep with my mate! Don't you have any shame?!" Annalise screamed as she began wrapping her hands on Lucinde's neck to choke her. Lucinde's face turned pale upon realizing that nobody seemed to be coming to the rescue. She was so frightened of this crazy and violent foreign girl that she froze. It was the first time that she experienced being physically assaulted like this. She has always been babied by her parents and family relatives due to her being the only child. She has no idea on what to do when put in this situation. All she could think of is her death. Was she going to die like this?

Annalise's grip on her neck tightened, cutting off her airflow. Lucinde struggled in response as she started kicking the person above her. Her hands tried to pull her attacker's hands away from her neck. However, it was futile. Annalise was too strong for her to overpower. Lucinde's face began turning blue as her oxygen supply decreased. Her vision started to become clouded with black dots as every second passes. There was one thought that kept repeating in her mind. I'm going to die.

Before she lost her consciousness, she heard footsteps scrambling towards her direction. An unfamiliar male voice erupted in the room. "Luna, please. I'm begging you. Please let her go. I can't lose her." His voice was filled with agony as he tearfully spoke those words. For some reason, it seemed that his plea worked. The crazy girl that was on top of Lucinde slowly let go of her neck and replied, "Fine, Ezra. I'm only leaving her alive because I feel sorry for you. It would be best to try and keep your mate in check. But then again, she will never change. It would be best to give up on her."

"What is happening?" Lucinde talked to herself in her mind as she heard those statements. But then, she suddenly realized something upon hearing the guy's name. "Ezra? Isn't that the name of one of the characters in the story she read recently? The mate of the antagonist of the story?" she thought. This was the moment that she realized that she was thrown into the werewolf story that she read before accidentally falling asleep.
