She knew we were coming
She had to, I mean between the announcements and the fact that there are cameras everywhere
But she was impossible to avoid.
The whole ride up Ray stared straight ahead. I sat on the floor, holding eddie's mask with one thought running through my head
He didn't deserve to die.
In that moment, I didn't care that he was trying to kill Ray.
In that singular, horrifying moment, he was a kid
A defenseless kid, with his back turned
Zack crossed a line.
"What the hell are you doing with that?"

"Its just a mask. You're holding it like you're mourning the kid. Like he didn't get what was coming to him"
"Because I am. I don't know what went through your head, but I saw a kid. A good kid, Zack. Unlike you I took the time to fucking talk to him. To all of them. So unless you want a bullet through your chest right here in this elevator I suggest you shut up."
And he did
