Entry Three:

October 16, 2020

As expected, dinner at my aunt's house was awkward. Despite it being awkward at first, I didn't truly realize how much I had missed Heeseung these past couple of years. I don't really remember exactly what caused us to start talking again last night, but by the end of the night, him and I were playing and laughing with each other like old times. Haerin had left after dinner since her friend, Asukai, invited her to go to the town fair.  She jumped to the offer, fed up with how well Heeseung and I were getting along. She's so dramatic...

WAIT. I REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED. Ok. So, my aunt and mom were talking while sitting on the couch while Heesung and I sat by each of their sides on our phones. Since the couches face each other, it was kind of awkward to just be across from each other. Anyway, his mom mentioned that Heeseung has really liked singing and dancing recently, and that definitely sparked my interest. Even more, he still really likes video games, which I thought he would've grown out of by now.

Heeseung and I finally spoke about what happened years ago. We both apologized. It was childish. It happened such along time ago, but has still affected us until yesterday. 

I think it especially affected our relationship since I'd only permanently moved here for a little less than a year at that time, so we were extremely close but we didn't trust each other that well. 

On another note, Sunoo invited me to his house! I'm really excited to go. I sometimes wonder if people surrounding us thing that I hate him or something. I interact with him rather...differently than some close friends would.

Him and I are right on the verge of being best friends, we've been seat mates for 4 years in a row. We only started talking around two years ago, though. 

The main reason I'm super excited to go to his house is....we're going to a dog cafe!!!! 

In all the 16 years and 6 months of my life, I have never been to a dog cafe. 

I moved to Korea when going to what is middle school in America. 

Wait...this means Sunoo was one of the first people I met in Korea!  Ummm...nevermind! Sunoo is my best friend! Besides Haerin, of course. I don't think I'm his though...it's ok! He has a lot of friends and I only have a few, so it makes sense.

Anyway, back to the original topic, since I've only been to Korea during summers before I moved, I've been too busy for the past 4 years adjusting to school here in Korea, so I haven't had many chances to go out to places like this. I've done things with my cousins, but NEVER a dog cafe. Okay. I'm done talking about dog cafes...

I have to go now! Sunoo, Haerin, and I are walking to school together!

P.S. I wrote this 30 minutes ago and Sunoo saw...he wants me to make a note that we ARE best friends, not on the verge of it ...
