Lexs pov-

I was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing. "Mm."  I got up closing my blinds.
"Girl you missed all your classes today. And ain't been answering are you ok." Lani's voiced boomed through the phone making my wince.

Why is she so loud and it's really bright in here. "Sleep." I got up going into the restroom brushing my teeth. "Come over to Dee's" I heard her sigh.

"I don't want to." I really didn't feel like leaving the house plus it's supposed to be hot today and I really don't wanna dress to fit the weather.

"Why? You can't stay in the house all day." I rolled my eyes at her comment. I could stay inside all day and I was planning on doing so.

"But I can I'm hungry bye." I hung up before she could say anything. I really was hungry though it was like I ain't ate in years.

Before I could leave the bathroom my phone started ringing again. I rolled my eyes answering it not looking at the contact name.

"No Lani I don't want to go and I'm hungry." I sighed. "We can go to the mall and get you something to eat if you come. Anything you want." I was about to object until I heard food.

"Some to drink too." I heard her laugh I don't know why I'm so serious. "Yes something to drink." I sucked my teeth hanging up.

I knew she knew that I was coming. I took a quick shower before doing my hygienic things. I quickly found something to wear.

It was really hot so I settled for a two piece set black shorts and a black v neck cropped shirt. It had puffy long sleeves but the material allowed my skin to breath so I wasn't trippin.

I straighten my hair then put on jewelry. I did light makeup putting on my eye contacts I wasn't in the mood to wear glasses.

I quickly grabbed my purse requesting my lift going to get me a water out of the refrigerator. Damn I really don't have anything in here to eat nor drink I needa go grocery shopping.

When it was outside I left making sure to lock my door. I got in greeting the Uber driver before putting my AirPods in.

When I got there I got out taking out my AirPods. I walked into the mall and walked to footlocker where they said they were going to be.

I walked over to Lani to let her know I was going to look at other stores. I wasn't really a sneaker head so I knew there wasn't going to be anything I wanted in here.

"I'm going to another store." I looked at the shoes she had in her hand. They were ugly but I wasn't going to tell her that she's going to buy them anyways like always. Then get mad I didn't tell her when I very much did.

"Ok when we're done shopping we can meet at the food court." I nodded walking towards the exit of the store. "Where you going." I turned and saw six looking me up and down.

"Idk yet." I avoided eye contact when he tried to look me in the eye. "Why you got on these lil ass shorts." He mugged me grabbing my arms and softly tugged me closer to him.

He pulled at the bottom of my shorts pulling them down. "It's hot." I just stood there while he fixed my shorts to his liking. "Ion give a fuck don't come out the house like this nomoe." I just nodded.

I was confused seeing as he wasn't my boyfriend so why did he care. But I didn't really care either I kinda liked it surprisingly. When he was done I turned around walking out of the store.
