Essence pov-

I answered my phone that had been ringing
. "Hey E what you doing today." Lani set her phone up on her vanity and walked into her closet.

"Hello and nothing." I continued typing on my computer finishing the last chemistry project I had before the show. "Wanna come to lotto's house to swim and eat with us."

I thought about it for a little before answering. Did I really feel like leaving my house? No. Did I really feel like interacting today?  Nope.Was I feeling well enough? Good enough. Did I want to make Lani happy? Yes.

I guess I'll go *sigh

"Sure what's his address so I can catch a Lyft there." I turned my assignment in. Yay! "Oh don't worry Six said he'll come get you." I didn't say anything else and we hung up the phone.

I got up after a few minutes deciding I should get dressed. I went an washed up seeing as I took a shower earlier. Afterwards I took my meds before moisturizing my body. Since my bump has grown a bit I didn't want to wear a one piece.

So I settled for a black bikin and put on some dark jean baggy pants before throwing on some red uggs. I grabbed my big black telfar bag and put my travel med case in there just in case. As well as a change of clothes, wallet, keys, AirPods, and phone charger.

I  ran my hands through my straight hair before stopping to take a few mirror pictures. I then quickly did my edges before grabbing my purse and walking outside.

Kyzen was parked his music playing. I walked to the passenger side getting in and buckling my seat belt.

"Hi." I gave him a soft smile, "Wassup you good." I nodded sitting back in the seat, he didn't say anything just cut the music down and the air on.

"Imma stop by the store so you can get some Ik the food not done." He sat up in the seat and started speeding up.

He look so dang fineee.

"Ok. Your hair is pretty." I reached over running my hands through his dreads. He had a retwist and a hair cut. "Preciated ma." He stopped at a red light leaning back in his seat.

He looked over at me licking his lips making me look away. I heard him chuckle before he started driving again.

He pulled into a store when we got close to Jay house. "You getting out." He looked over at me I nodded getting out.

When I got out he pulled me infront of him when we started walking. "Wassam six." I looked over seeing a light skin walking towards us.

I just continued walking not wanting to be in their conversation. I was about to walk in the store when six told me to come here.

"Yes." I walked back over to him looking up at him. He gave me a hundred dollar bill making me furrow my brows. "I'm ok I don't need any money." I tried to give it back but he just pushed my hand back.

I rolled my eyes knowing he wasn't taking no for an answer. "Thank you."  I was about to walk away when the light skin spoke up.

"Dang youn see me wassup." I looked over at him giving him an awkward smile. "Hello." I looked over at six and he motioned for me to go in the store.

I ain't say anything and turn walking into the store and grabbed me some a water, two slim Jim's, and a Lipton tea.

I put everything on the counter and waited until he finished ringing. He gave me the total and I handed him the hundred dollar bill. He gave me my change and I walked back out.

I walked to six to give him his change. I tried handing it to him and he just told me to keep it. I rolled my eyes before walking to the car.

I got in putting the change in his middle console. He came and got in his car and started driving to jay's house.
