Alana smiled wide when all the avengers, save for Tony, began following her with both their public and private accounts. She already followed their publics, so she requested their private and got accepted right away.
She stopped by a Chic-fil-A drive through to calm down Niall when she got home, because she knew he would over exaggerate and act like it's the end of the world because she got hurt.
"ALANA OPHELIA EVANS!" He screamed out the second she stepped into the house.
"I brought food!" She quickly shouted back and she could almost hear him weigh his options at hand.
"I'm still scolding you, I don't care." He replied and walked up to her. "For once in your life Lani, for once, I ask you to use your brain. Please tell me that that's not too much to ask for. You're always hurting yourself to the point that it's not even funny anymore."
"Come on Ni, when was the last time I hurt myself?"
He looked at her with a deadpan expression.
"Yesterday. You tripped down the stairs."
"That's because...actually, I don't have a reason, but everyone falls down the stairs from time to time." She walked into the kitchen and he followed her.
"No one just trips down the stairs Lani."
"Well, I do. So others must too."
"No they don't."
"Yes they do. Do you even know how many people will willingly trip down the stairs for me if I asked them to? I can tweet it right now and you'll see."
He sighed and decided to change the subject.
"Is Liam actually coming over?" He asked and sat down on the islands barstool. She placed the bags of food on the island and he took everything inside, out.
"Seems like it. You know how fussy he gets."
"Yeah. I remember." He shuddered and stuffed his face with fries.
Niall had once gotten a paper cut on his finger during the band days, and Liam went full mom mode by applying alcohol and a band aid. Then he proceeded to make sure Niall didn't use that hand until it healed, and he occasionally replaced the bandaid and reapplied alcohol.
"We'll worry about Liam coming over later, just finish your food first." Alana said and smiled when Niall dug in.
"Did you get yourself any?" He asked, noticing that she wasn't eating anything.
"I ate my meal in the car." She replied and gave him the best genuine soft smile she could muster because she wasn't telling the truth.
"I don't believe you, and since I know you don't eat this stuff, you and I will be cooking a very light meal later."
