Chapter 91

"Now, shhhhhh." Alana put her arms out and slowly brought them down to quiet the Australian crowd in front of her. "Our lost song of the evening is going to be a  fairly new song."

They screamed and she smiled at them, indicating with her arm for them to quiet down again.

"Sing the parts that you do. Australia, for the first time, this is 'Our Song'!" Just as she said that she realized that she and Niall actually sang it in Ireland for their home audience and parts of the song were wildly shared. So they would have memorized more than she would have thought.

But as she sang, she was blown away that they had the entire thing memorized. From start to finish.

She even stopped signing for a while just to listen to them.

There was always something magical about hearing a group of people sing together. United in music and voice. It's like all these thousands of people become one.

"Thank you for a wonderful evening everybody! See you tomorrow!" She walked off stage to thunderous applause and cheering.

"So? How was 'Our Song' sung live?" She asked Bruce as she came up to him. He was the Avenger accompanying her in Australia.

"It was wonderful. I have it all on camera." He smiled and lifted his phone up to indicate that he filmed it there.

Bruce was too nervous to actually stand backstage and see the performance live, in case he got too excited with everything and turned into Hulk, so he was in a special room that Tony altered for him while they were still in Japan. It reduced outside noise by 50%, had all the snacks and books he needed to keep himself busy, a tv that showed the live performance and an emergency system that would activate if he did turn into Hulk that would immediately play a video of Nat calming him down.

"Glad you enjoyed it." She hugged him in happiness and then excused herself for a few minutes to go get changed and take off her makeup. And that was of course before they took a commemorative photo together.

"Hey, how was it live?" Niall FaceTimed her while she was changing in her room. She had the phone facing the ceiling.

"They absolutely killed it Ni', it was phenomenal, wish you were 'ere."

"First off, Louis is rubbing off on you, stop talking like him, and second off, did they have it memorized?"

"The whole thing. How is it with you and the secret locations? And I'm not sounding like Louis."

"Yes you are, and they're loving it."

"Glad to hear that."

Niall was also performing the song for people, but  in secret locations, one night only pop ups without prior warning. First come first serve and you can only get tickets at the door.

The two of them did get in trouble with their managements, leading them to finally breaching their contracts.

"So what's it like being a free women Alana Ophelia Evans? For the second time may I add."

"I don't know, weird I guess. I won't have someone breathing down my neck for anything. How about you Niall? This is your first time breaching a contract innit? What does freedom taste like for the first time?"

"Fucking amazing. I feel like I want to do something crazy."

"I have another idea for a collab if you want?" She excitedly hoped he would say yes because she couldn't imagine singing this song with anyone else.

"YAAAASSSSS! They're going to go crazyyy. Do you have anything done?"

"Yeah, mostly everything, just need you to sing your parts."
