Alana fondly looked at MJ casually strumming the guitar on the couch while she laid down on her back with her feet propped straight up on the wall. This girl was just something else.
"Has anyone ever told you that you play the guitar really well?" She spoke up from her song writing and MJ blushed and messed up the note she was playing.
"Uh, n-not really, but yeah. I'm not surprised with my self." She said as her hand slightly shook from excitement at getting complimented from the Alana Evans.
Alana smiled and went back to writing when a barely audible 'thank you' made her heart warm.
"Hi, we're taking a break from building legos." Peter said walking in with Ned, who was drinking apple juice with the happiest look on his face. "Wanna do something all together?"
She converted one of the extra rooms to fully be a Lego room for Peter and had it connect with the room she gave him. So he could just walk freely back and forth through the rooms.
"Sure, what do you have in mind kid?" She placed her notebook and pen down.
"Karaoke night?" Ned asked and MJ raised a brow, thinking about it.
"You losers do what you want, but I'm not singing."
"That's okay, then play the guitar." Alana said, wanting to include the girl. She got the tv remote and turned it on, going to YouTube and to a karaoke channel everyone was familiar with. "Why don't you first pick MJ?"
"Uh, y-yeah, sure why not?" She did a one shoulder shrug and sat up straight, catching the the remote tossed to her. Her self esteem and confidence went up baby steps each time she got included.
And that's how they spent the rest of their evening, singing, laughing and having goes at the guitar which led to Alana singing to them one of her new songs and them being mesmerized.
