They were still stuck in traffic and he's had enough of the silent treatment coming from her. He's complimented her more than he's complimented himself and he tried starting so many conversations with her but she always replied dryly and with one word answers that shut the conversation down.

He did not like this.

He groaned.

"Okay, that's it. I've had enough. Just tell me. Tell me what you want from me so you stop ignoring me. This is torture. I don't like this. Please."

She finally turned around and looked him dead in the eye with a very blank expression.

"Nothing. I don't want anything from you anymore Mr.Stark."

"What?"

"You don't get to be annoyed with me because of one silent treatment while I've been enduring over months of it. You don't get to be offended by me not accepting a compliment. Your personalities are switching on and off around me and that's unfair to me and me feelings, innit?" She inwardly groaned at herself for sounding like Louis just there, he always teases her about how she's picked up a few of his speech patterns and behaviors.

"And you know what Tony? I'd really appreciate it if you didn't come to my show days. I'm done playing this game of yours. Caring one second and ignoring the next."

She got out of the car since it was at a stand still with all of the traffic and waved down a man on a motorcycle with two seats. She talked to him, offered money and got on behind him before he zigzagged through traffic. She had enough of his games. Enough of him randomly pulling away from her and then acting friendly, enough of him giving her the silent treatment on more than one occasion, enough of the confusion and heartache, and missed signals. Enough of not being his number one when she thought that she was. She's had enough. And what she just did, that was very healthy for her mentally. It gave her a little piece of mind.

Tony just sat there in complete shock.

"Sir," the driver looked back at him. "It's not my place to speak and I don't know the full story but, I could tell you're both important to each other, and sir, that's not a way you treat someone important to you."

Tony rolled his eyes in annoyance, mostly at himself and got out of the car, tapped on his wrist watch twice and a suit appeared on his body before he flew away. He didn't fly away from the beginning because he wanted to spend time with Alana, but he messed up, again.

Tony ended up changing his hotel and Alana really thought that the two of them were done for good.

She found it funny how they knew each other better than anyone else and they ended up like this. Nearly strangers. She doesn't even expect him to actually come to her shows.

What she didn't know was that the only reason Tony changed his hotel was because he was coming up with a grand plan for an apology and couldn't get distracted with her in the room right next to him.  Not even be in the same building. He needed to completely focus and think things through.

He had a few days before her first show to come up with something grand, something unexpected, something that will make her forgive him.

Because although he thinks he's not good enough for her, he doesn't want her to hate him. He wants to at least stay friends with the women he's falling in love with and he doesn't want to lose her because of how he stupidly acts. He doesn't want to lose her because of his mistakes, his wrongdoings. He's going to make things right.

A day before the first show, Romee joined Tony and Alana. She was planning to stay for two nights before having to leave again.  Alana was feeling slightly bitter and jealous but she couldn't let that show. Romee was her friend, and it wasn't her fault. It's not Romee's fault that she's the girl that Tony got with.

During one of Alana's sound rehearsals, Tony was lounging on the stage, even though she asked him to leave, and he received a call from Romee about something. She remembers him cracking a joke which she tried hiding her smile for because it was actually funny and she could hear Romee on the other end of the phone not getting it. It also sounded like she took it the wrong way and they started arguing. Romee doesn't get his jokes like she does.

"That joke was funny wasn't it?" He immediately asked her when he hung up.

"No."

"Yes it was. I heard a crew member laugh at it."

"At you, you mean."

She could tell he was trying to be more outgoing with her. He was most likely thinking up an apology. She knew him well enough to know he would think up of something. But what? She doesn't know. Because they both know a simple sorry won't be sufficient.

"Harsh." He placed a hand over his heart.

"Like you've been the past few months." She rolled her eyes and moved to the left to where her stage directors were asking her to move.

"Touché."

Later that evening, Tony sat with Romee and had a long talk that made him feel happier after, and like a huge weight has lifted off his shoulder. He was very great full for Romee, she was very understanding and actually wished him good luck on his endeavors.

Alana was over in Tony's hotel room for dinner since Romee invited her on her second to last night in India, and since they were good friends, she couldn't say no. She was immediately able to tell how much happier Tony was and since nothing happened since the time they got here other than Romee showing up, she concluded that it was because of Romee. She made Tony happy. Alana could see it in his eyes and smile as he looked at her, he was mesmerized by her. And although she's been telling herself recently to suck it up and move on, it was a sight for sore eyes.

That night, she slept in the sweater he gave her, promising herself that this was the last time she would wear it.
