The Lockeroom: Chapter Three

Still, the whole class was silent, all eyes were on Midoriya. "W..Why are you defending him?" Uraraka said in defeat. Izuku glanced around, he had made quite a scene hadn't he. No, now's the time. He doesn't care what anyone else thinks or says. He walks to Katsuki, taking his hand and pulls him, standing on his tippy-toes to give him a hug around the neck. They let go of their hands and Bakugo hugs him around the waist. "Are you okay baby?" Izuku said, filling Bakugo's stomach with butterflies. That's the first time he's called me baby.

He couldn't help but smile, and tightened the hug. The whole class watched in awe. "I'm fine now." He hid his face in Izuku's neck. Ochako couldn't help but smile, as a tear fell from her eye. She admitted, they were cute together. And it was the first time she, or any of the classmates, had seen Bakugo this happy. She knew they were good for each other. Her heart ached, she was so happy her best friend found love, but she couldn't help but wish it was her Izuku spoke to that way.

"I-I'm so sorry.." She said, Izuku and Katsuki turned to look at her. "I-I'm so happy for you guys.. I'm so sorry I was so awful, I don't know what got into me-" She felt all eyes on her, and she ran to the elevator, crying. Izuku couldn't help but feel guilt, and empathy for her. As mad as she made him, neither could Bakugo. "Hey.. I think you should go talk to her." Katsuki said, caressing Izuku's cheek. "Go, it's okay." He smiled, reassuring Midoriya. He nodded and gave Bakugo a kiss on the cheek, heading to her dorm.

Katsuki and Todoroki made eye contact, and Bakugo knew. Despite hating him, he was Izuku's close friend. And he knew, that Izuku was his. Despite just genuinely hating the guy from the start, he didn't have another good reason to act this way. "Hey." He said just before Todoroki turned away. "Izuku's mine. And you're Izuku's really close friend. I still hate your guts, but I'm sorry." Katsuki said, anger seeped through his words but everyone could tell he was being genuine. "I apologize too. If I had known you and Midoriya had that kind of dynamic, I wouldn't have treated either of you the way I have." Todoroki bowed, and Katsuki scoffed. "You're fine. Let's agree to disagree." Shoto smiled, and Katsuki returned it with a smirk.
