JJ and Kiara took the night away, escaping to their own reality. He held her hand guiding them to the hms pogue. It's been an official week since her arrival and the blonde wanted to give her a proper welcome home. Her time had been consumed with catching up with her friends and the Maya debacle that he didn't get his time to treat her.

"Y'know, you didn't have to do this." she mentioned, stepping onto the boat.

He followed behind,"What kind of a boyfriend would I be if I didn't,  Hm? It's all apart of this mastery plan I've got cookin'"

"Of course it is, so you sure I didn't have to bring anything?"

"Yup, got everything covered, just relax."

He went behind the wheel starting the engine. Kiara didn't hesitate to stand behind him. Her arms wrapped around his torso. She kissed his shoulder, leaning her chin on it. JJ sped off into the dark horizon with only the stars leading their path of travel.

They both let themselves indulge in the cool wind of the summer night. She's soaking in his scent, smelling the fresh linen of his t-shirt he got from the clean laundry. The quiet contentment of his presence didn't feel as depressing as it once did without it. Knowing she's somewhere that brings her true joy and adrenaline makes it a little easier to cope.

JJ stopped the boat. Kiara eventually moved, giving him space to let down the anchor. Once everything was settled he took the brunette's hand and led her off. They made their way over the beach going to a small abandoned shack. Hung in swoops were lights that didn't twinkle too bright to completely eliminate the stars. The shack had a small deck area with a couch and coffee table. Flowers from all over the island sat in a vase in the middle of the table. It was a makeshift sweet spot.

"And I welcome you, hotel hiatus."

She smiled seeing the amount of time it must've taken.

"Where'd you find this place?" she wondered while walking on the deck.

"I heard a store around here went out of business. Went to check it out myself and it's been my getaway ever since."

She turned around, "And the inside?"

"A bed and comfy blankets I stole here and there. Just in case you didn't wanna go back right away."

She gestures for him to come over as she takes little steps. He made it to her arms feeling her hands interlock. He held her waist, seeing the gratitude on her face.

"You are something else y'know that?"

"I would do anything for the people I love."

It wasn't long enough until she made her lips parallel with his, kissing him deeply.

She eventually pulled away, "this is beautiful but next time you want me alone, try not to make it twelve o'clock in the morning."

"C'mon, everything is so much better at this time of night. Remember all the trouble we used to get in."

"Oh I remember, my parents didn't let me hear the end of it."

"But I bet you had fun didn't you?"

She looked away avoiding his question, hiding her smile.

"Ahh, I knew it."

"Shut up."

"Make me."

She kissed him once more before pushing him away, "You're a dumbass."

He stumbled back, licking his lips smiling. Kiara began to slide off her shirt revealing her purple lace bra. He was caught by surprise but not opposed to the matter.
