When they got there, Angie carried Ivy and Matt pushed the cart. He was stronger because of the hockey, so Angie had no problem letting him get the heavy stuff. (Hey, what are partners for?) While they were in the baby section, a woman came up to them.

"I just want to say that you are such a cute family!"

"Oh we're not-," but before the partners could finish their sentence, the woman walked away. The two gave each other the look of "oh well" and "awkward", then they started looking around.

"What even is some of this? Stuff wasn't this fancy when Jules was a baby."

"Geez, you make it sound like that was decades ago. She's only sixteen. So, what do we need?"

"Uh, bottles, diapers, clothes, toys... you know, the usual baby stuff."

"Okayyy." Angie started looking for things like clothes, bottles, baby food/milk, and pacifiers while Matt went off to look for things like soap, diapers, and other things in that category. They didn't need to buy a stroller because they already had one at the agency that they use for undercover work sometimes. After they got the essentials, they went off to look for toys, blankets, and a sheet for the crib. At this point, Ivy had opened her eyes and looked up at Angie. Shade looked over and saw this.

"It looks like someone is trying to figure out who you are."

"What?"

"Ivy... she's staring up at you." This made Angie look down at her. She brought Ivy up to her face and kissed her little head. This made Matt smile.

Once they found all of that, it was about 4:30, so they went to the front to check out. Ivy didn't cry the whole time they were in the store, but as soon as they pulled out of the parking lot, she started crying. Angie started rocking her the best she could and let Ivy hold on to her finger.

"You know, for someone who's never held a baby that small, you're a natural at it," Matt told Angie.

"I'm a PI. I've had to do undercover work, which meant one time having to hold a babydoll and make it look real."

"Yeah, but you also know how to make her stop crying," he said, looking over at Ivy still holding on to Angie's finger.

"I used to babysit, so I know how to calm kids down."

"Wow, so many new things about Angie Everett that I never knew!" Angie laughed at the comment. Once they got to Matt's house, Angie handed Ivy to Matt and took her bag inside. The two figured that they could leave the other stuff in the car until Becca got there, that way, she could help them bring everything in. They only brought in what they knew they would need in the next twenty minutes or so. They brought in a bottle and milk, a clean onesie, a pacifier, and a clean diaper.

"Alright, so, here is the guest room." Matt showed Angie into the room.

"Wow, fancy!"

"Not really, but thanks," Matt laughed. Angie put her bag on the bed and walked out behind Matt.

"Becca should be here any-," Matt started. The doorbell rang before he could finish.

"How about now," Angie laughed. She took Ivy from Matt so he could open the door.
