Ivy woke up at least once every two hours. Matt and Angie had only gotten about an hour of sleep before she woke up at 11:00. Angie woke up and saw Matt over by the crib holding Ivy and rocking her back to sleep. She saw the scene in front of her, and her heart melted. She's never really seen Matt interact with babies before today, but she thought it was really sweet. By 7:00, Angie and Matt decided to just get up for the day. The two knew today would be crazy. They would have to work on their current case, try to figure out more information about Ivy, and take her to the doctor's office to get checked out and make sure she's okay. Zoe had sent them a message, but it was just to say that Maz hasn't found anything about Ivy yet.

"Morning," Matt said as he walked downstairs.

"Mhm," Angie replied, clearly not fully awake yet.

"Not awake yet?"

"I don't know how you are."

"You forget that Jules was a baby once too. So, I had to help in the middle of the night."

"Good point. At least that bed was really comfortable."

"Two words: memory foam. Also, we have a busy day ahead of us."

"Yeah, we have to work on our current case, and get Ivy to the doctor to get her checked out, and go down to the station to ask Maz about more information."

"Speaking of Ivy, we should probably go get her out of her crib and get her ready for the day."

"Good idea." The two headed upstairs and went into the guest bedroom. When they got to the crib, they saw that Ivy was starting to wake up. When she saw the two of them, she smiled. Well, the best a baby can smile when they're just waking up.

"Well, it looks like someone is excited to see us," Matt said.

"I'd say so!" Angie picked her up and adjusted her so her head was laying against her shoulder. Matt had his phone with him, so he was able to snap a picture of the scene in front of him. Angie had no idea. Matt and Angie got Ivy ready for the day then headed downstairs. They had to be at the office within the next hour, so they had to move kind of fast.

"Okay, so we need to figure out how to put a car seat in the car," Angie said.

"I know how to do that. Why don't you go get a bag ready for her and I'll go deal with the seat."

"Alright." With that, Angie took Ivy upstairs with her so she could watch her and pull a bag together at the same time. "Okay sweetie, I'm going to put you in your crib for a minute so I can pull together a bag for ya." Angie and Matt didn't have to buy a diaper bag because they have one that they use for undercover work. Angie put in a couple of onesies, a pacifier, enough diapers to hopefully get Ivy through the day, a blanket, a bottle and some milk, baby wipes, and anything else that she thought would need to be in there. Then, she went over and picked up Ivy out of the crib, hung the diaper bag over her shoulder, and headed downstairs. As she was on her way down, she saw that Matt was coming back inside.

"How'd it go," Angie asked him.

"It went fine. How did that go?" Shade gestured to the bag.

"I hope I got everything in there."

"I'm sure you did." The two grabbed their work bags and headed out to the car. Matt buckled Ivy into her car seat and then they were on their way to the office.
