Scottie's POV

Turns out as the guardian of the hunt I'm not allowed in capture the flag which made me pout seeing as I didn't get to test myself against any of the gods or goddesses. I had to sit on the sidelines with Chiron like I was a freshman again. I just stood there with my bag on my back since we were leaving as soon as the game was over.

"That was some spectacular fighting you displayed back in the tournament." Chiron said and I nodded my head in thanks. "Where did you learn to fight like that?"

"Experience." I answered bluntly, not wanting to talk to him.

"What was Athena talking about when she said somebody did things to you?" He asked bluntly.

Rather than answering I walked away from him but he followed. I just kept walking and found the Olympians' base with their flag and Artemis noticed Chiron following me and me just trying to get away from him. She launched an arrow and it landed between us causing Chiron to stop and me to keep going. I waited on the other side of the Olympians base while Chiron went back to his original position. Soon enough Hermes and Apollo were back with the campers flag meaning that it was just the hunters and the Olympians left in the game. I stayed there as I noticed a few of the hunters taking aim from the trees unnoticed by the Olympians. After the first volley half of the Olympians were out including Artemis, much to everybody's surprise. They were considered out if a weapon touched them, location of the hit didn't matter. The next to go was Zeus who was taken out by Thalia and then Ares by Phoebe. Athena didn't fight back against Rena so she was also taken out, leaving four Olympians left. Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, and Apollo. The hunters all surrounded the Olympians with bows raised and strings drawn back, ready to fire. The Olympians raised their hands in surrender meaning that the hunters won the game and everybody cheered, including Artemis and the campers.

"Now Chiron, what you did during the game was unacceptable." Artemis said, drawing everybody's attention to the two of them. "She made it clear she had no wish to interact with you at that moment and you tried to push the matter."

"My sincerest apologies, I only wished to help her." Chiron said plainly. "I should have respected her wishes and left the matter alone."

"Well, it's time for the greek hunters to say goodbye to their godly parents because we need to get to the roman camp for tomorrow." Artemis said and I simply waved goodbye and went back to Artemis' side.

"Are you sure you don't want to actually say goodbye?" Artemis asked me worriedly.

"I have a feeling this isn't the last time I'll see her, so this isn't goodbye, it's see you later." I said and she nodded. "Did you know that I almost died to my own beta some time two or three years ago, though it was Theo Raeken that killed me?"

"You what?!" She shouted at me. "I'll kill them for doing that to you!"

"Please don't, it was a supermoon and his girlfriend was dying." I answered sadly. "Theo is already dead and my beta's girlfriend is alright now and so is he, but I was dead for fifteen minutes." I said and she gasped in shock. "No pulse or anything until Derek brought me back."

"But that should be impossible." Artemis said confused.

"An alpha werewolf can survive with a single beat a minute for forty-five minutes to an hour." I said to her with a little pride. "And me being a true alpha boosts that a bit."

"Thanatos must be pissed." Artemis said with a chuckle and I shrugged.

"Problem for the future if it actually becomes a problem." I responded nonchalantly.

"Come on ladies, it's time to go or we'll be late." Artemis called out, gathering the hunters who already had their bags like I had mine.

We followed Artemis to a portal and we walked through and were met with chaos, not the entity just total havoc. I looked around shocked and I saw a big group trying to attack somebody with another group protecting them. The one that they were trying to attack glanced up and spotted us and I locked eyes with her and it clicked. She is my second mate, and she's in danger. I felt the roar before it happened.
